Beach Side Situation
As Callis let the kid with a weird pet robot tiger get up Crow didn’t lower his guard right away he still had his gun raise and his eyes moved towards the whole in the sand where Alex deflected his bullet. There was no obvious love lost between the two they had met each other before and were almost instantly at odds and it seemed they may still be at odds. The Gunslinger smirked a little replying to Alex, “Come on Alex it’s not like I shot at the kid I shot at the tiger.” Meanwhile the Cat Eye Witch seemed to agree with Johnathan they did out number and were vastly over skilled compared to whoever this kid was. Toni relaxed and put her whip away then moved up and lightly push Crow’s gun down towards the ground. She whispered quietly to the cowboy. “Crow that’s Alex Miyata of the Hidden World Information and Containment. The Association is already having enough bureaucratic issues they don't need us stirring the pot even more. Especially since we know that you are currently being watched closer than ever. Besides isn't he the older brother of Haruko do you really want to piss her off.” Crow sighed a little and agreed as he twirled his gun on his finger before holstering it. A rematch with Alex was something Crow wouldn’t mind but he knew for a fact that Haruko had a mean right hook. The illusionist meanwhile moved over towards Alex. “I apologize I guess as bounty hunters we can be a bit jumpy.”
Victor quickly explained his situation that his tiger led him here for some part and that he was a part of some group called the EarthKeepers. The two bounty hunters looked to one another as they were completely unfamiliar with this group. The Last Gunslinger tilted his head and stuck his arm out to the sides, “Listen Victor right? Everyone is always a part of some group that has been protecting the earth for years. As for your tiger over there it’s definitely not the strange thing I seen in the last week.” Alex made a comment about having the JHWAB checking up on this kid and making sure he wasn’t some criminal. “I don’t know about this kid being a criminal Alex. What masters of evil just willing give out information about their group and call themselves Earth Keepers?” That said the Last Gunslinger looked towards Callis, “This is your group Callis so it’s your say do we let this kid join us or do we call his parents and have him sent home.”

After passing through the vent, and a couple of ventilation ducts, Fumi would find a lever right besides the door. Even if it was really heavy the opening mechanism was quite rustic, maybe dating back to WWII or the Cold War. The insides were almost pitch dark, only the faint light coming from the vent give the room enough illumination to allow proper movement inside. Upon activating the heavy and rusted mechanism the door would slowly open upwards. Meanwhile outside the entrance…
-Did that girl just turned into smoke or I’m having a bloody heatstroke? - Falken asked to the people gathered around him after witnessing Fumi’s powers. –She would’ve been bloody useful many times during some of my mission, I’ve gotta get her number or her handler’s contact information. - Garo huffed with barely contained frustration and shook his head. –You really don’t know what you’re talking about Degiraz, this young lady shouldn’t be working alongside you in any situation, especially alone, I’ll see to that myself. - Once again the Old Archer paternal instincts showed up on his tone and face.
Being in such a good mood Garo looked at Alexander and asked. -And how're you doing today Stevenson-dono?- The Veteran Hunter popped his neck by tilting his head to the sides. -I hope your travel to the island was more comfortable than mine.-
Callis stopped projecting pressure as he heard Victor’s story. He narrowed his eyes for a second, turning them into cracks of pure blue and finally closed them as he took a deep breath and finally lowered his hand as his sword vanished. The Beast Knight was thinking about the situation when he heard Jose’s suggestion and nodded silently. He picked the phone the BHA gave him and started to slowly dial the number Yuki gave him to contact her as she was the liaison to the group. But after really slow, painfully so, dialing, the only thing Callis got was a message saying that he was out of the service area.
The Beast Knight looked at the device with puzzled eyes and shook his head. –I do not seem to be able to contact the JHWAB, I am not well versed with technology, but the message the machine speaks is one of lack of range, as if whatever powers its ability to send my voice to great distances is not available at the moment.- Before anybody could say something Callis walked towards Victor with long strides, he crouched to be at the same eye-level as the Armored Youth and looked him right in the eyes. This time around the Beast Knight wasn’t intimidating, he was trying to get a read from Victor, and lately he had been trying to balance more the two sides of his life, the Beast and the Knight, now he was attempting to trust the Beast instincts.
Callis sniffed Victor and Tigerbot’s scent without breaking eye contact. Finally he stood and exhaled, extending his hand towards Victor to help him stand up. –He lacks any ill intent, if he has something to do in this island I do not have the authority to stop him.- The Beast Knight glanced at the eerie structure coming out from the peaks, a reinforced door. –I must admit that this place makes my skin crawl for some strange reason, so I would not mind…- He turned back to face Victor. –To have another set of hands to help us.- The Beast Knight extended his hand, this time as a gesture of comradeship. –So what do you say young man, while you join up our mission? In exchange of allowing you to perform yours?- Truthfully Callis was a bit happy after hearing about the organization Victor was in.
He couldn’t believe he found in this world a semblance of an organization who was more about helping than money or politics.

The inside of the ducts were dark and dusty as if they hadn't felt air in years; Fumi was aware of their every twist and turn that her smoking form encountered as each tendril and wisp sought out the opening cracks of another vent before her breath ran out. Finding her exit, smoke poured from the ceiling duct and pooled at the floor, twirling and rising in one swift movement before disbanding as she gasped loudly for fresh air. Unfortunately, all she got was the taste of dust and muggy jungle air which made her furrow her brow in distaste. "Oh well", she thought to herself as she squint in the darkness, moving quietly with only the soft scuffing of her boots on the ground and the quiet rubbing of her palms along the dusty walls where she looked for an unlocking mechanism. Truthfully, Fumi had made this situation a bit more complicated than necessary; she could have easily just removed the door...but that would have looked a lot less cool.
Unfortunately, it was hard to scout the area in pure darkness. Her fingers hit no light switches, no levers, there was no way for her to see in pitch black. Instead, Fumi crouched down and sat silently for a few moments, listening to the silence that caused a deep ringing in her ears. The only semblance of sound she found was her own breathing, her own pulse, and her loudening thoughts. This place was...quiet. Adding a cliche to her thoughts, she chimed in to herself. "A little toooooo quiet..." Despite the slight goosebumps this place gave her, she decided that in the best interest of the mission, she would vote it as safe to go in. Making her way back along the walls again, Fumi searched for some sort of mechanism to release the locked door.
Thankfully her hands hit lukewarm metal and she pulled the heavy mass with a small grunt when it gave opposition to the movement. Clearly rusty, it took multiple tugs for her to get it down, but it finally caved with a metal clang and she heard the churning of mechanisms connected to the door as it opened and let the sunlight pour in like a welcome hot burst.
Walking out to greet the other members of her team, Fumi held her arms above her head with a stretch before smiling widely, as she was known to do, while gesturing with both arms to the black mouth of the doorway, bowing slightly in the process. She only stood back up to sign at Alexander, looking proud of herself. "After you."

"We women can take care of ourselves, Garo." Eve gently chided. "Although I am telling her to stay clear of Falken. And you Alex. Sorry for comparing you to Falken, Alex." She smiled broadly when the door chugged open before her. "Hey, good job kid." Eve stepped into the dim corridor and her chest split down the middle. Her internal breastplate was decked with a huge light on the upper left and a grappling hook coiled around a cable in her stomach. Slots down her sides stowed climbing axes, rations, and smaller handheld flashlights. The large light hummed as it flooded the entrance. "I assume you couldn't find a light switch?" She asked Fumi, tossing everybody a tough, steel-colored flashlight.
John sighed and shook his head. Nothing that just happened should have. Were relations between the hidden world factions really this tense? John feared the world's evil much more when its good couldn't work together. But still, disaster hadn't struck here. It worked out in the end. "Welcome to the team, Earthkeeper." The kid seemed like a bit of an idiot, but not a bad guy. He hoped the Earthkeepers were all like this kid. John planned on living a long time, and hoped to have a decent few generations on the planet. "So, does anybody have a lock on what we're looking for?"

Even though his face doesn't express any emotion about the turn of events, he is happy that the kid isn't going anyway. He has a good feeling about the lad. Yet, on the other hand, he didn't like the fact that Callis couldn't reach the JHWAB. Their technology was so advance, that if that can't reach them, than more chances then not, something or someone was blocking the signal. He tries his best to detect anything either with his Ki senses or terra senses, but he couldn't pick up on anything interesting at all. Eventually he gives up, and decides to ask the others, "Does anyone have a good idea where we should be heading too on this island?" His eyes look over everyone as he waits to hear their ideas on their next time.
Besides only giving a slight nod in recognition of Eve's words, he waits patiently for the door to open. Once open, he smiles to himself. "Good job...so far." signs Alex back to Iris. He begins to walk ahead, and even with the mountains of dust clouds in his path, he appears to be unaffected by unclean air. He looks around a bit in hopes of spotting anything interesting to examine. Even going so far as to pull out his own little flashlight to help him see better in the darkness. Just because he looks like he lives in the darkness, doesn't mean that ghoulish looking man can see when surrounded by darkness. He continues his search in hopes of seeing anything that could give him any information at all relating to the origins of this place. Even seeing the design behind the door could give him a decent timeframe of when this place was built, or at least the door itself.

Victor tried to hide how thrilled he was. They were welcoming him into the group! He said "It would be an honor to join you" and shook the big guy's hand. He liked the big guy! First to react, psychic moral reading sight, first to welcome him in, nice respect for another person's mission, and they called him the Beast Knight, which is something you can relate to when you wear an armor to work and it's shaped like a tiger. He seemed *healthy*, which is a lot to say in this line of work where everyone is kind of a freak.
"So! Everyone. I get the impression you're not a fully formed, rich history supergroup, right? More like a mish mash, brought together for this assignment, "Mission Impossible" style? Some of you have worked together before and some haven't. I don't mean to delay you, but if you could just help me out a bit, would you mind telling me what are we up against? And how can I be of help, though I guess I'll come up with some ideas once you clarify the situation."

Alliance with the Earth Keeper
The Gunslinger only gave a nod as Callis gave his best assessment of the Earth Keeper and his weird metal robot tiger, this was the Beast Knight’s group and mission so if Callis said they two were okay…they were okay. However Crow may regret that sooner rather than later as Victor started referring to them as a super group. The cowboy sighed a little and walked up to Victor offering his hand in a sign of friendship. “Sorry for shooting at you and your….pet kid. I’m Crow Cementerio, nice to meet you.” Toni smiled as she also came up paying a bit closer attention to Tiger Bot, “I’m Toni Sociere. It’s a pleasure to meet you and your robot friend is quite interesting do you command him or does it act freely?” Crow then tried his best to explain the group to Victor, “Listen we aren’t some super group. We just work for different organizations now given that you never heard of the Japanese Hidden World Affairs Bureau I doubt you heard about the other organizations. A few of us including Toni and I are bounty hunters with the Bounty Hunter Association. The guy in the black suit and his scary ninja friend are with a different organization. As for what we are dealing with or what we are looking for that a question for Callis.” With that said the Gunslinger turned to the Knight because he was wondering the same…what were they looking for.
Toni looked towards Callis as well speaking up, “Mister Nomene, now that we are gathered together it may a proper time to elaborate on what the Bureau mission is exactly? That way once we are all on the same page decide on what our first move should be.” Crow nodded silently in agreement as something lingered on his mind. Callis mention that this island seemed to have an unsettling feeling to it and Crow was starting to agree. But then again that just be a feeling generated by Alex’s after all eh was a pretty creepy dude. Crow moved over to Jose as he spoke up, “I agree once we figure out what exactly we are looking for maybe it would be best if Jose and I scout ahead. We both rely on some form of Natural senses so we could get a better understanding of the island and its layout.” Crow looked over towads Victor, “You mentioned that your robotic ally told you to come here to find what you are looking? Does that mean it has some form of scanning device for other worldly energies or something?” The Last Gunslinger wondered was curious to see what this Earth Keeper could do not to mention what the rest of his group was like.

Alex nodded to Toni as she apologized for Crow's behavior, having no real anger toward the Gunslinger at the present moment anyway. He knew that his ranking in the HWIC was much higher than a mere bronze star in the BHA. If Crow actually broke any laws and needed to be apprehended, Alex wouldn't hesitate to arrest him. He glanced over at Callis when the beast knight said that his communicator was out of range, knowing fully that the JHWAB couldn't possibly be relying on standard cell phone technology to run their operations. Regardless, Alex made a mental note to contact the Intelligence division with his own communicator if he ever needed information on this assignment, rather than try to go through Callis.
Turning to Callis, Alex motions toward Victor with his right hand. "Now that we have cleared up this situation, I believe we were all called here on an assignment. I believe you were the one to call us here, so presumably you are here to lead the mission. Where do you believe we should be headed first?" He asks Callis, in a non-threatening but firm voice. He knew that this was JHWAB jurisdiction, so he at least needed to see if the person they sent was up to the task of leading the group before he started to push things along on his own.
Nearby, Mizuki was standing idly by, observing the strange group they had formed for this mission. A cowboy who fired on an unknown robotic tiger, a lady who seemed to be friends with the cowboy...but more rational, a quiet man with earth powers, a man whose scent was clearly inhuman and made her trust him the least of anyone there, and the apparent leader of the group whose demeanor appeared to change between a noble leader and an almost irrational sense of action. Was this really a professional operation...?

The Beast Knight heard all of the present company questions and decided to answer them. –I was asked to gather a team to investigate this island, as according to the information given to me by our liaison with the JHWAB there is concerning readings, whatever that means, surging from this location.- Callis kept explaining, pointing above. –Their eyes in the firmament. - He was being a bit archaic but was talking about artificial satellites. –Allowed them to perceive a disruption to the universe in this location, like a tear in the fabric of this world. - It was kind of difficult for Callis to explain such concepts, as where he came from there wasn’t movies or series to pull up examples from. –As if another World tried to crawl its way into this one.-
The Beast Knight pointed at the feet of the unnaturally steep peaks in the center of the island, hidden by a small yet dense forest. –There is no need for exploring Mes Cementerio, I did some scouting and found a metallic doorway that I could not open, at least not without making a lot of noise.- He gave a couple of steps towards the direction. –I can guide you there and we can find a solution from this problem and discuss a proper course of action.- Callis led the way towards the rusted steel door, quite similar to the one in the other side, but lacking the vent and quite more armored, seemingly this side had the front entrance, while behind the peaks lied the back door. As he walked across the forest the Beast Knight commented.
–There is something unnerving about this place, an unnatural silence, as if no animal lived in this place.- He was right, no creature was in the island. If the group followed him they would reach the door in no time. –We need to get in to investigate, does anybody has any ideas about how to proceed?-
-Allow me sweet cheeks. - Falken took a couple of steps forward after Eve asked for the light switch. The Infamous Mercenary summoned the Kadoya Surveillance Cams, small floating drones with cameras and other sensors, which also carried high intensity lanterns. 4 of them surrounded the group, emanating radiance to light the way. –I would say women first, but Little Miss Flatulence already entered first.- He spoke with a mocking tone, as insulting was almost second nature to him, while he pulled the Tendo Variable Weapon from his Hyperspace Arsenal, a high tech looking gun, that could shift between a dagger and a combat axe modes. -I could put an arrow in the back of his head, death would be instantaneous from this distance.- Garo jokingly whispered to Eve, with a crooked smile and an arrow on his hand.
–I’ll take point, so you can see how it's bloody done- Falken said while advancing. The hallway extended for 20 mts until it reach to a T Bifurcation, with paths to the left and right. The Infamous Mercenary stopped and turned around. –So do we go left or right? - Falken glanced at everybody present while his cameras illuminated the zone they were in. –I couldn’t care less, unless we get to a dead end. - His bionic eye glowed filled with ill intent. –If that happens I will kneecap whoever chooses the wrong path. - The Old Archer sighed and shook his head. –WHAT!?- Falken shouted, shrugging his shoulders. – I don’t like wasting my bloody time.- Garo rubbed his eyes, displaying his frustration. –You of all people should appreciate being efficient, you could drop dead at any given moment you old sack of bones.- The Veteran Hunter was in too much of a good mood to pick the fight, so he turned to the others.
-I vote for Harper-san to lead us, she has a good head above her shoulders.- He then glanced at Falken with a crooked smile drawing on his face. –Plus if the 6 Million Dollars douche tries to fight her I would put my money on her.- Garo then proceeded to look in Alex direction. –Stevenson-dono, could you please translate for the young lady, I would like to hear her opinion as much as I want to hear yours.- Hopefully the Old Archer’s gambit would serve to lock out Falken from any kind of executive decisions about the mission. It was the best for everybody, specially for his own sanity.

These people were totally bizarre. Fumi watched as the broad woman stepped past her and cast sudden illumination into the dark depths of the hallway, harnessing a look of excitement and awe from Fumi in return; that woman completely just opened her chest up like it was nothing! What was she?! In midst of her awe, Fumi almost fumbled the flashlight Eve gave her and she shook it slightly to feel the batteries bump within before turning it on directly in her own face, causing her to wince and immediately shift the high beam away as she blinked rapidly to clear her eyes of the spots that haunted her vision. Casting the light forward wasn't entirely necessary with Eve's illumination, but she did so anyways and was a bit unnerved about how the darkness in this place felt. Fumi had learned one thing in her many years and it was to trust her intuition; if it felt like a setup, it probably was and just like setups, something about this place felt incredibly off.
Carrying the slightly perturbed expression, Fumi could only huff slightly at Falken's comment. If she'd really wanted to, she'd have been glad to empty his pockets of whatever gadgets he had in exchange for the comment, but she was just simply too distracted. Between all of them and their illumination, it looked like the darkness of the hallway stretched on and on and it set her on edge. Fumi lived in the dark, it was just her territory, her niche, but in this place she felt completely out of her element. This wasn't simply like the shadow of a well-polished hallway in the lap of luxury, this was a dusty and decrepit crypt that hadn't been touched somehow by any semblance of a living thing. There were no cobwebs, no signs of animal print on the ground and the silence that lived here was unmoving and palpable, thick as the jungle air.
As the group exchanged words and clipped remarks, Fumi had moved forward just slightly, a bobbing figure of curly hair as she tried to peer further into the empty hallway ahead of them, turning around to face Alexander as she spoke to him and him alone while holding her flashlight against her side with her arm, causing the beam to bounce slightly with the rapid movements of her hands. "Why are there no animals or bugs in here, we're in a jungle right? But it feels like we're the first things to set foot in here in a while." Then, with a soft look of realization that she'd been asked for her opinion again, she gestured with her pointer fingers towards Eve as well in agreement that she should lead forward. Grabbing her flashlight again, Fumi shined the light forward and chewed over on her thoughts about the current situation. What an odd place this was...but, money was money, and a job was a job.

Eve stood in the crossroads, shining her chest light down each path in turn. Even her powerful light found nothing in each direction, just extending the distance before her sight was swallowed by darkness. Her eyes were tuned for distance, not darkness. It didn't matter who decided, it wouldn't be more than a guess. A coin flip. "Falken, send two cameras left. We're going right. Report if they find anything, keep your mouth shut otherwise." She made a snap decision and started marching down the hallway. She was already feeling uncomfortable. This place felt too big, too open. "And scout ahead here. I don't want any surprises from any direction." She kept her eyes open for anything that may be lying in wait. "So, Fumi, any other powers we should know about?" She asked the small woman, keeping her eyes on the darkness.
John rapped his knuckles on the doors to hear the reverb, feeling for how thick they were. If the place was abandoned, it was likely that these doors didn't have the power necessary to open. "This place must have vents or pipes or something. They'd need air and water, after all." He sprouted his long purple wings and fluttered up above the door to scan it for details. "Crow, do you sense any electronics? Mr. Miyata, if I remember correctly, you can make portals. I doubt it's that simple, but can they get us inside?" he asked questions while searching the area.

Once they arrive at the door, Jose begins to remove his hands from his pockets and approach the entrance slowly. Standing a few inches away from the metal door, he begins down and places his right hand on the ground. He attempts to spread his senses as far as they can to gather a better understanding of the structure ahead. Yet, the soil around the building feels extremely foreign to him. -There is something off about this place- He looks to John for a moment and for the first time he actually takes a moment to study his features up close. He couldn't help but think that he is probably one of the best looking dudes he has ever seen. -Hopefully he can fight as good as he looks- he thought. As he sprouts wings and flies a bit into the air, he begins to study him with his Ki senses. His eyebrows slowly descend as he squints his eyes. -And there is something off with that guy- He turns towards Callis and asks, "I could try to make a tunnel underneath the structure and we can try to enter that way. who knows...Perhaps the floor of this place is less armored then the front door." He also considers taking out the door as well, but what if there is a trap waiting for them as soon as they open the door.
Looking at Fumi he quickly replies, "She is in favor of Eve leading as well. As for myself, I don't really care." Alex is rather indifferent to whoever wants to "take charge" so long as he gets to do his own thing in his own way. He flashes the flashlight at both directions as he tries to spot any interesting marks anywhere to indicate a difference between the two paths. Eventually he decides to sign to Fumi a quick question, "Can you transform into something else besides smoke?" As he is curious as to the extent of their little comrade's abilities. He follows behind Eve as they continue on the path she choose. Hopefully it was the right one.

Falken followed Eve’s instructions and sent two of his cams to the left, one of the look forward and the other looking back, zooming on Eve’s ass while it moved away from it. –Right it is, if everybody is hearing sweet cheeks I would be a bloody stubborn ass if I didn’t do the same.- He said while walking up front, two of his cams floating around him adding more illumination. Without stopping he turned his face to add. –But I follow any order that helps with the bloody mission, anything else, side-quest, helping others or any fucking thing like that and you people are on your own.- The Infamous Mercenary kept walking forward. Garo matched his pace with Eve and whispered. –Just say the word, I can put an arrow inside his skull before he reacts.- The tone made it clear he was joking, but the dangerous glow glistening in his stare told a very different story.
-WHAT THE SHIT!?- Falken stopped moving. For a second the Old Archer mind raced, didn’t he use Ki to hide his voice, a cute trick for hunters to hide their sound from predators but not from their comrades, to avoid getting heard by the Infamous Mercenary? But he quickly realized why did Falken was so shocked that had to stop. Further down the hallway, that had been going to quite a long stretch the black walls slowly turned into white ones. It wasn’t a smooth transition, it was more like chromatic battle, with lines of black and white entering the other side creating a strange border between the colors. –WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!? MY SENSORS! WHY DON’T THEY WORK!?- The whole situation was quite puzzling for the Infamous Mercenary, who grabbed his head and staggered until he fell against the wall.
Those who depend on organic sensory weren’t in a better position. In front of them the hallways slowly lost any coherence with physical laws, the whiteness ever expanding into a massive room with no discernable walls. Floating in this alabaster ocean a multitude of doors, of different sizes, shapes, materials and colors, each of them in a different angle, drifting inside this white room, as if they were in zero gravity, like an asteroid field made of doors. No human mind was prepared to see something so alien, there was something weird with the perspective, as if things that seemed really far away were almost at the grasp of your hands and anything close by seemed to be unreachable. –I…what…- Garo’s eye twitched, for a man who honed his senses to surpass human limits this was a bit too much, he also had to support himself against one of the walls. Slowly you could get accustomed to something like this, but it would take some minutes at least.
Falken was too confused to notice that the 2 cameras he sent to the other side returned to his Pocket Dimension, as they usually did under danger. 20 mts behind the last of them there was no more hallway, as if it was never one there, a wall creating a dead end.
John wouldn’t see any kind of pipes or vents in the door or the surroundings, as the complex inside used a different source for basic necessities. –That would work Mes Hernandez, unless the whole entrance is as fortified as the main door.- Callis seemed to have an otherworldly insight as his concerns were accurate, the whole structure was reinforced, even the floors. If Jose tried to feel anything on the ground, maybe try to guess the size of the underground complex he would only find, what one could call “static” as if something was there, but it was too difficult to gauge how big or small it was. But it was very likely that, if he could create portals without directly seeing the place he was going that Alex would be able to create one across the fortified door… but not too far beyond that. So what method would the group attempt to use? Would Jose force his way through the reinforced walls? Will Callis cut the door down? Or will Alex Miyata use his powers to get the group through? Or maybe John would pull an ingenious plan to help them surpass this obstacle?

In the sudden questions she got on her power, Fumi tapped her bottom lip slightly in thought while shining her light forward into the never-ending darkness. To articulate it to these people while they were trying to pay attention was difficult, so she simply held up two fingers quickly to explain that she had two only. One they'd already seen earlier, so they knew she was capable of being smoke, but the other was harder to word. Catching up to their sides, she held her flashlight in her hands and held it slightly forward to try and garner their attention to the object; one moment it was there, the next moment it simply vanished into a large puff of smoke that wafted away, only to show up again where she promptly had to turn it back on. With a shrug of her shoulders, she smiled widely, trying to show that that was mostly it.
With their path finally determined through the group, Fumi had to stop herself from rolling her eyes a little. This guy, Falken she thought his name was, was pushing this tough guy act so hard! It wasn't hard to be nice or at least decent to the group...Fumi was glad she couldn't speak because she was muttering silently to herself with pursed lips. She only shook out of it when Falken began yelling, wincing slightly as the sudden sound put her on edge; sure this place was quiet, but that was no reason to begin yelling ESPECIALLY during a retrieval mission! Fumi shook her head slightly, curls bouncing vigorously while she hastily placed a finger over her lips with a look of worry only to drop it slowly while looking into the hallway whose color palettes fought each other for dominance.
The sudden shifting and turning of everything in the space left Fumi feeling motion sick, just as she had on the boat. Darkness gave to white and suddenly physics seemed to make no sense and she clutched her hands over her mouth to try and prevent the sudden lurch her stomach gave. With her eyes closed in hopes of pushing out the bizarre sight a little while longer, she forcibly swallowed along her dry and tightened throat while slowly peeking open one eye after the other. It didn't make anymore sense than it did last time, but Fumi simply just did the only thing she could do in this situation, just accept that it was happening. Fighting against it with her senses was stupid and the sooner she could just give up her suspension of belief in this scenario, the better. Still, her stomach did churn a little bit when she took a slight step to her closest side where Garo was and offered out her small arms to help him up despite being a little shaky and more pale than usual. Truthfully, going to try and help Garo just meant she could avoid looking at the biggest mass of this bizarre situation. What was even going on?!

"Oh, that's handy. Well, if you need anything, just talk to- Jesus, Falken! Calm the hell down!" She stopped to glare at the screaming cyborg. "What do you MEAN your sensors... don't..." Her voice trailed off as her sniper's eyes took in the changing hallway. She stared at the floating doors for a second than spun. As she suspected, their entrance tunnel was gone. "FUCK!" She shouted, stomping on the blank void that was the ground. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes for a few seconds, and sorted things out.
She had seen the world twisted like this once before, but it was unlikely to be that again. But if so, this was going to get very ugly very fast. "Okay, all calm. Nobody wander off. We are going to open each door we can reach one by one, very slowly. We are not going to stand right in front of any of these doors while opening them. Understand?" She spoke calmly, with confidence as she internally tried to make a connection. Could she make a call to Huntsman from in here?
John gently landed back in front of the door and stretched. "There's nothing up there. We're going to need another way in." He shrugged, sitting on a convenient rock. Nothing he could do, so he might as well relax. He extended his wings to soak up some sun and laid back.

There was another world trying to crawl into this one? Thinking back to over a year ago...Alex remembers reading a report about how at a summit of the hidden world organizations, a man wearing a black suit interrupted the meeting to warn them of an impending attack from another dimension, one where everyone in it was of an evil nature. Could this be somehow linked to that warning? After watching the group study the door for a few moments, Alex couldn't help but to feel like nobody here knew what they were doing. One of the people even decided that he'd sit on a rock and give up trying to get in completely. Walking up to the door, Alex lightly pushes his way through to the structure.
"If we are done trying to convince the door to open itself, I feel I could be more of use here." As he said that last part, he made sure to give a glance toward John. Why was he even here if he didn't want to actually help out with an obstacle beyond giving a useless observation? "As you may have seen when we entered, I can make portals to places if I have an idea of where I am going. So stand back while I work." Concentrating on the building in front of him, Alex summons a portal only a foot away from the entrance, creating the other portal directly behind him. The portal did manage to be created, so there wasn't anything obstructing the exit path like a wall...but there was a question of what exactly was on the other side.
Glancing over to the group, Alex motions to the portals. "I need to stay here and keep the connections open, so I will go through last. Mizuki, go through first and stay out of sight. Understand?" He ordered the young agent, who nods her head. Without saying a word, she enters the portal and quickly begins to scan the area around her, taking a few steps forward so people behind wouldn't run into her.

Disappointment in his inability to survey the layout of the structure in front of him, Jose removes his hand from the ground and stands back up. He turns his attention to John real quick and is stun that someone can be so relaxed during a mission. It is only after Alex opens a portal that he reverts his focus to their entrance. He couldn't shake off the ominous feeling when he glances into the depths of the portal. Looking at the ground he begins to wonder if he should bring some of earth with him. After all, inside the metal structure he isn't going to be able to use his powers. Still, he might ruin their advantage of stealth by throwing rocks randomly into the portal. "Well, this could be a good opportunity to see how far I have progress with my training." thoughts Jose. He looks at his fist and slowly charges his ki into his closed hand. Not much, but enough to that it gets his blood moving. Before he gathers too much energy, he punches his own hand, which causes the ground to shake around his immediate area a bit. After warming up his Ki senses, he decides to go right through the portal.
As the walls turn into a modern art, Alex begins to smile. Either this is a trap, or they are heading in the right direction. Regardless, he is looking forward to the next part. As he early moves forward, the world suddenly changes around him cause him to experience a minor vertigo attack. As he struggles to balance himself, he couldn't help but begin to laugh to himself in joy. After all his years of hunting, it is reversing to deal with a completely different experience. It would have been quite refreshing if it wasn't for the fact that he needed to adjust his senses to be able to handle perceiving the world now. After regaining full control of his body and senses, he nods in agreement with Eve's suggestion to avoid standing directly in front of the doors. He slowly approaches the nearest door to him, and adjusts his body away from the center. "Make sure you're not in the way." he warned them ahead of time as he carefully turns the knob and opens the door.

"I don't get this", Victor said. "Are we all simply going in? Shouldn't we send like scouts first? Look, just, please stop going through the portal... (No one's hearing me.) HEY! We'll do this, I'll go in and come back out in five minutes, alright? Five minutes. If I don't come back... come looking for me, alright, but, um, know that it's dangerous."
And he jumped into the portal.

-Where is the door?- The young man in tattered clothes rushed through the jungle, the T-Rex chasing behind him crashing down the slope through the trees. –Where is the fuckin’ door?- He shouted again as he rolled out of the way, as the dinosaur’s fangs closed like a pincer right over his head. –For fuck’s sake! I need to find the fuckin’ door!- His eyes frantically looked around trying to find any glimpse of the strange door that brought him to this place, leaving him stranded for months. He was getting tired of eating dinosaur meat.
The stout young man in the room with light green walls was typing. He took a sip from a white mug and leaned back on his chair, lifting the front legs off the ground. He popped his neck and stretched both arms over his head yawning lazily. A creaking sound on the wooden chair was a noticeable sign that he shouldn’t lean anymore, so he returned it to an upright position and lowered his arms, shaking his fingers as he did to fight the numbing sensation on them after writing for so long. He curled his toes on the rug underneath his chair and popped the bones on his hand before resuming his work, sighing with utmost boredom reflected on his face.
The old man dressed in white monk robes swept the cracked tiles of the courtyard, moving the leaves from over them, pushing them into a hole where he mixed them with other organic trash to make fertilizer. He grew his own food so he needed every help he could get. The old man stopped for a second and looked around, his tired eyes scanning the mountains around his humble abode to find the glimpse of light that always signaled the proximity of guest, but so far nothing, maybe this was one of those days nobody came to visit him. He was disappointed, but at the same time relieved.
As much as he desired company he very well knew he didn’t deserve it. And he knew that he always gave any visitors extremely bad news.
Garo managed to get his bearings back, pushing back from the wall and he rubbed his eyes. So did Falken, who shifted his sensors through different wavelengths until he found one that allowed him to withstand the sensorial mayhem in front of him. –This is the most fucked up thing I’ve ever seen…- He glanced at Garo. –And I’ve seen him dictating class. - The Old Archer glared at Falken while he walked forward, observing everything around him with amazement on his eyes. –This place is impossible… I can’t believe something like this exists…- Garo was dumbfounded, taking steps on the white surfaces, realizing there wasn’t a “ground”, everything shifted and was curved. The closest doors were finally getting less blurry and seemed to be on an understandable dimension.
Alex walked towards the first door, it seemed to be a sliding glass door with a light blue frame that didn’t show anything through the glass. As the Grotesque Hunter issued his warning both Falken and Garo moved to the sides, the Infamous Mercenary, as he couldn’t shut up, had to make a comment. –If whatever is in there kill you I’m taking your wires Quasimodo.- As always his jokes were a way to save face whenever he was nervous, since this was a totally new experience for him. Alex started sliding it open. First a dim light slipped through the crack, followed by white smoke… no… not smoke… but steam, gently ascending from the opening door and dispersing into the whiteness of the door room. The atmosphere around the door grew heavy and humid and slowly the dim light died out revealing what was beyond the door.
A massive room, with no end in sight, with small blue tiles in the floors and lower halves of the walls. The rest of the walls were white. Steam floated around, surging from large bathtubs distributed evenly in the room. It seemed to be a traditional Japanese communal bathhouse, but extending to the infinite, like when you reflect a mirror into another mirror, creating the optic illusion of infinite copies of the room. Inside the water many men from all ages only covered with towels or completely nude washed their bodies and relaxed in the pools of heated water.
Falken and Garo, for once, shared the same opinion. –What the fuck!?-
Callis waited for everybody to pass through the portal before entering himself, he just stopped Crow and Toni. –Mes Cementerio, please stay here as a guard, it would be unwise to enter into this dungeon without leaving a lifeline outside.- And after saying that instruction the Beast Knight entered the portal joining the others in a dark hallway, that lacked any natural or artificial light, only the glow of the portal gave some illumination to the shadowy corridor. Thanks to his inhuman senses Callis could more or less see in the dark, not with the same precision he had during the day, but his feline attributes allowed him to notice the contours of the walls.
-Mh… This hallway only goes forward. Mes Hernandez, can you use your ability to scout ahead? Mes Gratti has a point about investigating ahead. - He spoke with a firm yet quiet furtive tone, trying to avoid getting unwanted attention from any possible guards. –Should we advance? We could use a source of light first, so everybody can clearly see.- If the group advanced they would find, sooner or later, a bifurcation with two roads, one to the right and the other to the left.

Fumi rubbed at her temples with small fingers, the mixture of this hellish room combined with the banter of mostly Falken was giving her a slowly growing migraine. Her head hurt!! Mix that with her easy motion sickness and Fumi was constantly swallowing down her rising bile that threatened to invade her drying mouth. It wasn't like she could easily communicate this...and it wasn't like she wanted to either. Everyone else was adjusting just fine, so maybe she'd just give it some time...Walking across the floor that wasn't really a floor, Fumi was never too far from anyone's side out of fear of falling. The white was never-ending, as were the doors, that seemed fuzzy in the distance; what kind of place was this and how were they all so calm about it!?
The first door they came to immediately made Fumi think of the one in her apartment complex; in one of her many bathrooms, the shower door with its opaque glass that made it impossible to see through. When Alexander opened the door, Fumi was met with yet another grotesque sight; a numerous amount of naked men she'd NEVER wanted to see. Letting out a barely audible meep, Fumi covered her eyes with both hands and turned away from the group, scuttling away slightly with a beet red face. Why....how!!! A small whining sound seemed to whistle from Fumi's lips as she lamented over feeling her eyes violated. This wasn't anywhere in the offer she was given to come here!
