"She's SO COOL!" Victor couldn't help thinking, as he steadied himself off the ground for the, what? Third time this fight? He advanced towards her firmly swinging the staff around him, with both hands. Step by step he approached, invisible, knowing he could ricohet arrows with the staff, lightsaber-vs-blaster style.

Rin started to pour down arrows towards what she thought it was Victor’s general direction, following the imprints on the ground. But this was less of an attack and more of a tactic, as if her arrows vanished she would know where he really was and after that she would rush forward with a lateral swing of her sword. “Come on, show yourself” She repeated on her head with each arrow she shot, hoping that the “Fighting against an invisible enemy” class in Inazuma she assisted paid off in defeating this enemy. She didn’t know why she had to win, she only needed to be victorious.

YES! He was ricocheting arrows all around him, like he didn't care. Well, you could say he literally didn't care if that gave away his position. None of the arrows was reflected towards Rin, though; Victor wasn't THAT good. Not good enough to hurt her with her own arrows (would chi work like that, though, anyway?). Finally he had approached her; he swung for her head.

Rin was prepared, her breathing was paused and stable, her eyes were fixed in the area were her arrows changed course, she had a very good idea about were her opponent, was, so she readied her blade and sharpened her senses to their maximum using Ki. It was do or die, but this wasn’t her first duel to the death… and her determination might help her so this isn’t her last. Without hesitation she took a step forward as she felt the incoming attack, you can hide from her eyes and ears, but her skin felt the shift of pressure of the blow, allowing her time to react, pushing her body over the natural limits of humanity through the use of Ki.
She dashed forward with a lateral slash from an Iaido stance, hopefully her gamble would be fruitful, yet she felt blood rushing down her face, as Victor’s attack hit its mark. It hurt a lot, as she wasn’t using that much Ki to defend herself. Her vision was a bit blurried and surely her balance would be affected.

Victor detached both halves of his staff and in the same movement used one to parry! He felt SO COOL doing it while invisible, too, because maybe she wouldn't know he had a weapon in each hand now. The sight of blood made him a little dizzy, though - but instead of thinking about it, he swung to her head again with the other half!

Rin couldn’t focus her eyes in a single spot, her head was pounding as blood slid down from her hair, covering her face. She staggered forward, giving weak steps trying to get some distance from the Armored Youth. The warm blood dripped down her chin into the floor, the sound of each drop echoed inside her head. DRIP
DRIP
DRIP
A sudden breath of inspiration took over her, as she realized show she could finally detect her opponent. Without a doubt she turned around as she punched her wound, spurting blood in front of her. This was the kind of demented strategy her brother was so fond of and Rin didn’t doubt for a second to channel Gen in this hopeless situation.
She received the blow, but this time around she concentrated her Ki on defense, greatly diminishing the damage she took. She was trying to keep her head clear, trying to control the shivers and the dizziness from the previous blow, hoping that her blood stained the invisible enemy enough to allow her to detect him. She raised her guard, ready for anything.

SO GROSS GOD SO GROSS OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD
Victor was tasting her blood! Not in a cool "To all who oppose me: I shall taste your blood" way, but in a real, this-is-kinda-gross-now-she-can-see-me way!
For a moment he thought of detaching the tiger and retreat, letting the robot fight for himself. Then he remembered he wouldn't ve invisible if he did.
Her blood, though. While in the armor, Victor had enhanced senses. Maybe he'd learn something from her by tasting her blood.
But enough thought! Victor attacked, with both hands, trying to "clap" both halfstaffs into Rin's head. "Let's make a 'your head' sandwich! My weapons are the bread and your head is the, um" he thought, and opted to not say anything instead.

The droplets of her blood were allowing Rin to get a proper idea about the location of Victor and his intended movements. The Novice Warrior noticed the kind of motion one those when fighting with two weapons, as if her opponent was trying to squash her head between to bludgeoning objects. Knowing the intended target was a great help to avoid the attack, and so she did, her head still pounding and eyesight still blurry she quickly crouched to avoid the incoming attacks and then proceeded to lunge forward, charging Ki to her feet to multiply her speed and her sword to enhance its piercing power.
Rin knew this was do-or-die, as blood still dripped down her face from her head and soon enough she would lose consciousness. Hopefully this attack, from such a enclosed range with the speed almost reaching Mach 1, would caught the Armored Youth unguarded.

He felt it. Victor felt the entirety of the sword going through him. And then... something else. The whole of the girl, like in those samurai animes when the swordsman simply appears on the other side of his opponent. He had... phased through her? Actually, it had to be the armor: it suddenly cracked in a thousand tiny pieces. As a cloud of dust, it abandoned him; the tiger reconfigured itself a few feet away, looking asleep on the sand, also looking -if you came close enough to se- as composed of millions of tiny separate pieces. It had absorbed the most damage it was capable of; Victor knew it could stay like that for weeks, slowly recovering itself.
He was unharmed, though, but what good could that be? He was armorless and powerless. He turned around to face his opponent, and waved with both hands. He tried to smile.
"I guess you won, then! I surrender!"

Rin fell on her knee, her face covered in a crimson gown. Her whole body felt heavy, as if she was wearing lead-lined clothes. The Novice Warrior pierced the floor with her sword, while blood kept pouring out her wounds, with her back going up and down erratically, following her equally erratic breathing. Rin tried to stand up but her legs lacked the strength to perform the task she asked them to do. She tried to summon her Ki to aid her mobility, but her reservoir was depleted on the last she executed. Rin didn’t know why, but she smiled, maybe this was how Gen felt after losing a fight, she thought as she lost consciousness.
In front of a pleading Victor, the Novice Warrior fell down to the ground, without any strength left to keep going after such dreadful blood loss. Maybe she won the last confrontation, but she lost the battle. And everything around her started to fade, like mist under the sun. The Dream was over.

"Sheesh!", Victor yelled, running to Rin, not knowing that that common expression that doubles for "Jesus" would actually make quite a respectable nickname for a girl with the surname of Shishioh. "Are you alright?" he said, checking her pulse. "She's OK, but hurt... Hang on!", he added, and turned to look around. Then they both faded into non-canon.
