If this really is a ghost, I can just deal with it with my swords, he thought to himself. "Sure. Count me in!" He quickly remembers his fellow teammates and decides to ask, "Would you be okay with me bringing some of my other friends?" As he waits for a reply, another question pops into his head. "Hang on..the witness reports? Who are the witnesses?" He turns to his companion with a puzzled look on his face. If other people have already seen the ghost or evidence for it, why wouldn't someone have taken action already by now. Unless maybe the ghost isn't really the cause, but perhaps a consequence of whoever, or whatever is truly behind this mess.
"Yes Sir!" saluted a clearly relieved Shin with a not so hidden bloated belly before he leaves the room and prepares to go back to his sentry position outside of the school.

"Oh that's great news! And both of my sisters are younger. One's 13 and the other..." Arthur paused to count how old Hazel should be physically now. "The other is almost 9. Anyway, thanks. I'm sure they'll appreciate it. Now, I should probably look around the school a bit more. Get familiar with it. It was nice talking to you," Arthur said and went to the door. "Oh, and again, I'm sorry I can't return your feelings."
Where to go now? He could go to the war room and see if the girl in the computer had anything important to tell them. But if she did, she could just use their phones. And it's not like he had anything important to ask her. He already found out that it was possible to take photos of multiple subjects with the app.
He could go to his next class already, but there was still some time left and he should probably use that time to spread his web, to meet new people. And then he finally decided.
Arthur went to the 1st grader part of the school. His goal was to check up on Shin and Jane. He didn't even need to talk to them, just see if they were alright. And who knows, maybe he would run into someone interesting while he was there.

-Of course, the more the merrier when it comes to solving mysteries!- Seicho shuffled through his notebook until he opened a page with a folded map of the school glued to it. He unfolded it showing the whole building. -With more people we can cover some ground, I can borrow some walkie-talkies from my grandfather police stuff stash.- With a pencil he split the school into several areas. -I think that if we get 4 or 5 people we can cover the whole school in just an hour.- He passed over some pages and showed a couple of small photos with text besides them. -Some people of the night guards and the cleaning staff are the ones who’ve seen them, most of them got fired and transferred, that is what makes it so mysterious.- Seicho stood up with big old dumb grin on his face. -This is going to be so awesome!- and after that exclamation he left to keep on planning.
-You came to school with that fine, fine piece of a…- He stopped himself and rephrased. -With the new teacher, Ms. Li.- Tsume smiled. -Do you know anything about her?- He pulled a pile of yens from his jacket inner pocket. -Any information you have will be handsomely.- The not-so Charming student stopped talking and smiled, one could almost see a twinkle in his teeth. - rewarded…- He was clearly trying to get on Yuu’s pants, there wasn’t any ulterior motive behind his words, it was THAT evident.
-Oh so you’re really eager to be a reporter A-ra-ch-ne-san…- Uwasa stroked her chin, faking an “old master” accent, as if she was some kind of wisewoman in the arts of reporting. -You want to get under my wing and learn my ancient secrets?- She stopped the piss poor imitation as he finished that phrase, realizing it was awful. -Well if you want to talk about mysterious events you should talk to my source in school, Seicho Matsumoto, I think he is in your class.- She showed one of the school papers to Jane with a column reading "Is our Headmaster a Vampire!?". -He writes a column about the mysteries in the school, the Headmaster has asked me to remove him from the paper, but he is so passionate about it and I like passionate people.- That’s what she said, but in her mind the second part of that sentence was sounding as loudly as ever. “Because they are easily manipulated.”
As Arthur walked towards the 1st Year classrooms other students walked past him, nothing too notorious, most of the girls looked at him and then turned away whispering and giggling, a bit too timid to talk to him. Nothing of note was happening until he saw a young student, clearly not from 1st year, sitting in a bench under a tree in an indoor-garden, behind her a large series of panels of glass reached the top floor. This was the back of the school, with a small patch of grass, a couple of small trees and some bushes. Her dark purple hair tied in messy pigtails, her uniform a bit roughed up and her face obscured by large out of fashion round glasses, reflecting the light coming from the window. She was scribbling something on a small diary looking notebook. Her fingers were covered in band-aids. She was the only one who seemed out of place.
Norio reached his bedroom planning to sleep again. But before he did he decided to check his phone. His still reddened face, after getting angry at Shin slowly turned paler and paler, the more he read the messages coming from HQ the more he could feel cold sweat running down his body. His body was trembling and he dropped his phone because of it. He fell flat on his ass, leaning against the wall as he started to understand the gravity of the situation. He could only manage to utter a single phrase as he grabbed the sides of his head.
-We are so screwed.-

Jane picked up on the cues Uwasa dropped. Looked like getting anything out of her would be risky, but this was the kind of risk Jane liked. "Sure, I'll talk to him. Seems like you don't know anything I want..." Jane feigned sudden disinterest in the paper's head. If she was reading Uwasa correctly, she was the type who prided herself on knowledge. Hopefully acting like she didn't have anything useful would draw some out of her.
As clear as Tsume's motives may be, Martha didn't pick up on them. "I know a lot about her. But is that all you can offer? I could just beat you up for that." Martha displayed what little tact she had in fishing for more. "What do you even want? I can tell you stuff if you tell me where the tough kids hang out. You know... if a guy like you would even know that." She scoffed.

Shin waves goodbye to a clearly excited Seicho as he shouts after him, "See you later pal!" After his friend is no longer in sight, he looks around as if still searching for signs of the ghost. "Guess I should let the others know about this...but first..." He stays in the cafe to eat for a while before heading out. He travels the hallways as he tries to figure out his next move. Meanwhile, his clone successfully manages to get back to his spot before and continues his duty to watch the school.

Arthur was surprised by how much attention he was getting. Heh, his foreigner status and good looks were apparently all it took for him to start becoming a popular guy. Of course, it would take a few days of nurture for the seeds to really grow.
While he observed the students he passed and looked for Jane or Shin, a purple-haired girl caught his eye. She had an aura of mystery around her. Just sitting there, writing with band-aid covered hands. Was she just so into writing that she developed bleeding? Not to mention her outfit stuck out when compared to the relatively clean uniforms everyone else wore. But how to approach her without coming off as a creep?
"Excuse me," he said, approaching her. "Is that spot taken?" He gestured toward the empty spot on the bench.

-Oh I know about it, but a good club president knows when to delegate tasks, as I’m on the hunt for a different kind of fish.- Uwasa explained with a carefree tone. She noticed that Jane was trying to play her, but she clearly had too little experience on that field to convince somebody like Uwasa. -Not to mention that even if I like people being curious or nosy you didn’t bring any news to me, Aishi didn’t do his job and didn’t tell you, but I only do exchanges for real information.- She smiled, this time a bit colder than before. -You should be grateful I’m even taking time out of my day to direct you in the correct path for whatever you seem to be searching for.- Her smile became a bit warmer as she turned to face Aishi, stroking his chin with her finger. -And I only did that because Aishi is such a good friend of mine.-
Uwasa stood up and walked back to her desk. -I think we’re done for now, unless you have something really juicy to tell me about.-
-I take offense to that!- Tsume replied faking an offended tone. -I may not be the toughest in the school but I get in more than enough trouble when I want it.- His tone quickly changed as his smile did. -And if I have a switchblade handy I can get out of those troubles on my own.- Tsume’s change of demeanor was constant as he returned to his usual laid-back look after that single spike of intensity. -You already know one of the toughest guys in the school, my boy Kiba used to be the star of the Rugby Team, the other teams nicknamed him the Train, cuz nothing could stop him.- Tsume looked to the window with a tinge of sadness. -At least they used to call him that before that prick of Sokudo set us up.- A flash of anger appeared on his face before turning to face her with his almost stoner smile on.
-Now tell me something about the new teacher…- Another short glimpse of perversion coming from his shining teeth. -Don’t avoid any dirty detail, no matter how small-
-Nh-nh.- She replied with two short hums, as her the back of her pen, a very nice black pen with engraved silver designs, was inside her mouth. For a moment her hand turned into a blur, scribbling something on her notebook. The way she was sitting made impossible for Arthur to peek on her work without leaning forward. The young woman clearly wasn’t paying attention to him or attempted to start a conversation with him.
-Son you’re in charge.- Norio entered the kitchen where Shin was cleaning up the mess left by the Mizukara Clone. -Why? What happened?- He asked looking at his father, completely dressed up and with his cellphone tightly clutched on his hand. -Something above your paygrade, just take care of everything until I return.- Without leaving any time for Shin to ask more questions the Old Inspector left, closing the sliding door with a loud BAM!

As he searches for his teammates he manages to find himself meeting the older students before he realize that he must be near the 3rd year classrooms. "Maybe I can find someone around here." As he is searching he continues to feel the weight of his phone in his pocket and decides to take the device out. He studies the communication device for a bit and whispers to it, "Ummmm....are you there miss Kikkaw. If so, can you help me find people." He didn't click a button or anything, he just asked the phone and just hoped that whatever magic is behind this would allow the phone lady to hear him and assist him.
Outside Shin's clone watches the school from a safe distance. While continuing to fight the urge to take another nap, he decides that he needs to do something. Looking for something interesting and fun, he begins to focus his eyes beyond the school and looks around his immediate area.

Jane balked when she realized how easily Uwasa caught her trap. Well, looked like she'd have to bait it better this time. "Alright, I can tell you something. The other new girl, she's crazy. She got hit by a car and the car was hurt more than her. She's probably finding your toughest guy to beat up right now. You're going to want to see that. I can give you tips on where to find her, but I need you to tell me who she'll go for. Has anybody ever seemed strangely tough or fast? She's a nut who thinks she's some sort of anime character and looks for people tough like her!" Jane worked herself up more and more, half convinced herself that Martha would do this by the end. Well, she was a bit more aggressive than what was ideal. Maybe she would try to beat somebody up.
"A switchblade? You're not tough at all, you need a weapon." Martha snorted. Well, his standards were low at least. He was willing to give her information for basically nothing! "Any information, eh? Well, she cooks really good and she hates yelling. There, you happy?" Martha crossed her arms and glared. He better be happy or she was leaving. Talking to Tsume was annoying.

Arthur sat down and made himself comfortable, resting his arms on the back of the bench. Then it was time for some stealth. He made a reflective shard of ice and set it up so he could read what the girl was writing down without being an obvious creep. After reading what she wrote down, he said, "This is a nice place, right? Relaxing even."

-BRRRR- Shin’s cellphone vibrated and the screen lit up, showing a text message on it.
“Who do you want to find?”
As this happened somebody got closer to Shin. It was Genki Kansei, the girl he met before, who smiled at him. -Hello little guy, are you getting to know the school, do you need a tour?- Behind her, leaning against the wall Akire Sokudo was standing with his arms crossed and a glare that could be easily categorized as “Murderous” his killing intent sipping out from him, flooding the hallway as his muscles twitched under his skin. It was mundane killing intent, no ki, magic or hidden energy whatsoever behind it.
Uwasa checked her phone as she heard the information. -Mmmm Martha Arachne isn’t it?- Her slender fingers tapped the screen a couple of times as she glanced in Aishi’s direction. -Aishi-kun could you kindly ask your friend Kenka to search for her in the school grounds?- The Teen Poet nodded and walked out the room in a rush. -Thanks for the information.- The School Paper President turned to face Jane with a clever smile on her face. -But as I mentioned earlier the one who has all the “strange” information about the school is Seicho Matsumoto, currently he is working on a piece about a ghost.- She stood up and walked to her desk, picking up a stack of papers and shuffling through them with her back turned to Jane. -You know where the exit is, good luck with whatever you are doing.-
-Oh thanks, that’s pretty helpful…- He stretched on the sofa and pulled out his phone, starting to browse cooking websites. -Yeah you can go… You should also check Yasui Kenka from 1st Year.- Tsume smirked. -I’ve never seen him fight, but rumor tell that he has a mean right hand.- He mimicked an explosion with his free hand. - They said that he hit a guy so hard in middle school he took a chunk of him off with a PUFF!- He stopped and laughed. -But that's idiotic, surely they’re exaggerating.-
Her hands moved in such way half of the page seemed to be obscured by them. What little Arthur could make out were small pieces of text, parts of something akin to a movie or play script but in multiple different paths, some written on the side, others vertically on the page all in japanese. “I hate melon bread”
“Never count on him, he isn’t trustworthy”
“Like the phantom of the Opera?”
“She is here I can smell her”
“What do you mean? I’m made of what?” She replied with another hum. -Mjh-Mjh- This time slightly nodding to demonstrate a positive response to Arthur’s question.

Well, she got something going for Martha at least. Jane pushed herself away from the desk, wishing she got more out of this but memorizing what she did. It wasn't much, just a few names, but it was more than before. "Thank you, Uwasa-san. I'll look for Seicho-san." She quickly left and sent a group text for everybody else on the team.
"Seicho Matsumoto works for the paper. He researches strange things happening." Jane sent it and quickly switched to a personal text for her sister. "Somebody called Kenka is going to look for you, don't know why." She sent that as well as she walked back to her classroom. Break wouldn't last much longer.
"Really?" Martha grinned. She got him. There was no way that was an ordinary human thing. She turned and recalled where the first year class was. Hopefully he'd be there. "See you later. I'm going to see this Kenwhatever guy." She spun and walked swiftly to the first year room, bumping into the returning Jane. "Hey Jane! Are you okay? Has everybody been nice?" She hugged her smaller sister tight. "Yeah, it's great! Did you get my texts?" Jane asked. Martha blinked for a second and fished her phone out of her pocket. "Ah-ha! So he's heard of me too! Is he here!?" Martha popped her head into the room. "Hey, is Kenka here?" Jane just stared at her sister. What was she doing? How did she know Kenka?

The writing looked to Arthur like the scribblings of a lunatic. More importantly, she didn't seem to be very talkative. Pursuing this conversation any further would be pointless. At least for now since his internal clock was telling him break time was almost over.
"Break's almost over. You should probably go to class soon." He said, smiled and got up. He made sure to get a god look at the girl before leaving. Purple hair. Glasses. Not very talkative. She was almost like Marika, actually. But these facts should help him find more about her from other students. Photos could wait until they didn't come off as creepy.
Even though he didn't find Shin or Jane as he intended before, there was not enough time to look for them now, so Arthur went back to the classroom to get ready for the next period.

A surprise Shin quickly shoves his phone back into his pocket before addressing Genki, "Sure! I would love a tour!" He shifts his head around in a casual manner while trying to avoid making eye contact with the source of the killing intent. This guy has some issues, thought the young Mizukara. He turns to face his tour guide and asks, "Hang on...doesn't next period start soon? If so, maybe you can give me a tour another time." If he gets a chance to be alone again, he plans to pull out his phone and ask the ninja lady where his teammates are.

-Good morning.- A young student talked to Martha while wearing a relaxed and calming smile on her face. -Yasui-san isn’t here.- Rian Seimei, one of Jane’s fellow students in 1st Year replied to Martha’s question with the poise and etiquette of a lady. Her mere voice seemed to be relaxing as a warm breeze in spring. This was the kind of charisma and class you are born with rather than you learn. -I don’t know why you’re searching for Yasui-san, but as soon as he comes back I’ll let him know that an upperclassman was looking for him.- She kept her cool attitude without problems, even in front of somebody as intense as Martha. -Still I’ll ask you to leave the class as soon as you can, since class is about to resume and I desire to listen each lesson in the best possible conditions.-
-Plus the break is about to end.- She pointed at the bell and just a split second later the bell started ringing outside.
-Mh-mh- The girl barely vocalized a reply, still immersed on her writing. As soon as Arthur turned around the corner she closed the book and stood up, putting a hole-ridden old sweater jacket over her uniform and placing the book in one of many pockets inside of it. She was carrying many different books of many different sizes, each one with a different pen attached to it. The light reflecting on her large glasses obscured her eyes as she lingered on the direction Arthur left. She stood there for a moment until a creepy smile slowly grew on her face, stretching her cheeks from side to side. She covered her grin with her hand, completely covered by the long sleeves of the sweater and she giggled.
-Oh my… Maybe I finally found my protagonist… I didn’t like working with the other boy, he was so aggressive and rough, this one is mature beyond his looks…- She liked the stains from her ink smudged fingers. -And what looks! So yummy… 100% Hero material…- The bell rung as she said that, to others the end of the break, to her, thanks to her expression, seemed like the dinner bell.
-Your companions are returning to their classes, as the bell is about to ring.- As soon as that message on Shin's phone appeared the bell rung, signaling the end of the break. Clearly Akane was tapping on the school systems enough to know about the timing of the bell. -I suggest that you do the same.-

The bell rang just as Arthur entered the classroom. Slipping into his seat, Arthur took out the necessary books and prepared himself. Using the time before the teacher arrives, he checked his phones for messages. His personal phone had a message from Love and Hazel; they were making fun of him going to high school and having to do homework. In return, he promised to make them do his homework if they don't behave.
The phone given to him by the JHWAB had a message from Jane, telling everyone about a person working for the school paper. He checked the collection of photos taken for analysis to see if if they had a photo of this Seicho Matsumoto. Talking to him about the purple-haired girl seemed like a good idea. If he could arrange a non-suspicious meeting.

Martha's expression softened. "Yeah, sorry to interrupt your class." She waved at her sister, who facepalmed and waved back. Jane's big sister was being especially erratic in this school situation. She really couldn't handle school. She wasn't supposed to just barge in here looking for the guy!
Jane shook her head and checked her phone, finding everybody else had been quiet. Looks like she had to formulate her own plan for next break. She waved at Shin and grabbed her notes.
Martha rushed down the hallways, reaching her own classroom just a touch faster than a normal human should be able to, despite getting briefly lost. She rushed back to her seat before the bell ended. What a useless break. That weird guy just wasn't very helpful. And he liked Yuu way too much. She was all stodgy and no fun at all. Why did he want to be her friend so bad? Must be some sort of teacher's pet. Martha leaned back in her chair as class begun, Yuu scanning the class before getting started. She had gotten some information from Jane's texts, but not much she could use.

Shin waves back at Jane as he proceeds to sit down with a goofy smile on his face as he quickly examines his surroundings. After checking out the room, his eyes turn towards the front as he prepares for the teacher to start the lesson. Yet even with him going through the motions, one could tell that his mind is somewhere else entirely. Truth be told, the young man is holding back his excitement as he has what he considers to be valuable information to share with his teammate.

DUN-DUN-DUN-DUUN… DUN-DUN-DUN-DUUN The bell echoed across the hallways of the school signaling the end of the break. Students who were enjoying the brief period of respite between the hours of academic pursuit returned to their classrooms with varying levels of enthusiasm, going from extremely hyped up for more learning or knee deep in despair upon the realization that once again they would go inside a closed room to be lectured about stuff they didn’t care at all. Even so most of them knew better than to stay around the hallways when Ikki Ryusei was around the school, he was clearly the scariest man in campus by a landslide, mostly because his disciplinary measures tended to be the type that even top athletes would consider insanity. Last year a quick witted and loud mouthed student tried to do a snide comment about the P.E. Teacher’s helmet…
Next day the other students found a ring of wetness around the school. The trail of sweat left by the student overnight, running circles around the premises.
Yuu’s schedule indicated that she should go to the 1st Year Classroom where Jane and Shin were. Aoi Hisaki, Homeroom Teacher of 3rd Year arrived to the class and signaled the new teacher to come with him to the hallway. -We need to talk.- His expression, as always, was unreadable, aloof and distant from everything around him. Inside the class the students were preparing their pens and paper, some of them hiding whatever digital devices they had on hand. Tsubasa turned to Arthur and advised him. - You should keep your phone out of Hisaki-sensei’s sight, he dislikes digital devices a lot and he will take it from you if he sees it.-
A similar warning was given to Martha, not through words, but through actions. As soon as Angelique heard the voice of Hisaki coming from the hallway she closed her laptop, the one she had been using since she sat down and placed it inside her raggedy backpack. She straightened her back and looked forwards, opening her eyes a lot wider than before as she rubbed the bridge of her nose, trying to snap out from the focus she was giving to the computer and whatever was on it. For the first time the light of the screen wasn’t hitting her face, revealing the almost unnatural blue color of her eyes.
Meanwhile on the 1st Year Classroom Chairo was leaving the classroom with dashing steps and smile, just popping his head back in through the doorway to say. -You should stay calm until the next teacher comes to class, I’ve got...- His smile slowly turned a bit creepy. - Impart "personal tutoring" right now.- As he left Seicho leaned towards Shin. -Pst… We’re still on for tonight, right?- He whispered. And further back in the classroom Aishi profusely apologized to Jane. -Sorry little lady, I didn’t think Uwasa would act so coldly, but I can introduce you to Seicho, he is the guy in the front row talking to the new exchange student, during the next break.- The Teen Poet pointed at Seicho and Shin.

Jane waved dismissively. "It wasn't your fault. And now I have a lead! Thanks, you've been really helpful!" Jane hugged Aishi, exposing just how chilly she was. "I would love for you to introduce me." Jane said as she released Aishi and grabbed her notes. Just leaving her classroom to go to theirs, Yuu paused when confronted by Aoi. "Hm? I have time to talk. What is it?" She was guessing it was about Chairo, but she wasn't sure. The sooner she could get away from that man the better either way.
