Attention! Seeking assistance!
We here at the Mason's Magical Storage facility take pride in storing our customer's potentially dangerous magical items, and keeping our facility safe. We are currently in the middle of transitioning some of our relics from our facility to other locations, and have reason to believe thieves may try to attack our workmen and steal artifacts in our possession. This is a grave danger, and shouldn't be taken lightly. We are seeking anyone skilled in combat to help work the night shift and protect our workers as they do their jobs. Monetary compensation for your time will of course be provided.
-MMSThat was the ad put out by MMS, offering anyone with combat experience to come and assist in guarding their storage facility while they were transferring items out of it. People willing to take this job would be paid at the end of the night, where they expect the last of the artifacts would be loaded onto trucks and taken away to a more secure location. The facility was located in a small town in the province of Alberta, Canada. The company had intentionally placed the building there because the town was just big enough that their workers could live there, but small enough that it wouldn't attract too many prying eyes. Another large reason why it was there was to serve the prominent mage community in northern Canada, especially the students and faculty at the summoning magic school Gateway. Many students store their supplies and books there over the summer to pick back up in the fall, while the faculty had numerous potion ingredients, artifacts, and other magical items. But they were only a portion of the facility's customers, as they serve people all around the world by securing both safe and dangerous magical items. On the outside, the building was a large, 3 story warehouse with shelves upon shelves filled with crates, boxes, and a few larger items covered in tarps. Dozens of workers were walking in and out of the warehouse with forklifts, bringing the crates to a few trucks parked right outside to take the items away. Strangely enough, some of the items were encased in a large metal box with multiple glowing chains wrapped around it, probably indicating whatever was inside should stay in. The ad's instructions would bring the applicants to the front desk, where a man in his 40's with brown hair and a black suit would greet them. Despite the possible threat of thieves, he seemed to be as calm as ever, even somewhat happy to be there. Though...he couldn't help but stare at the group of officials who were going down the aisles, inspecting the different crates. The group was comprised of many prominent HWIC agents, including the HWIC stealth leader Sarah Albane. Another group was looking around on the top floor of the warehouse, this group led by the HWIC's president Aria Miyata. Both of them seemed determined to find something...but what was it? Outside, a pink-haired woman was walking along the trail, holding a map in her hands. Haruko had always struggled to follow a map's directions, and this place not being in a easily found town wasn't helping matters either. "Ugh...where is this thing?!" She calls out to nobody in particular, even though the short seamstress was nearly at the location.

In a small apartment in downtown Dublin a young red haired girl was taking a small nap after a tiresome day at work. Arlana had never worked a single day of her life until that fire took away her comfortable high-class rural life and the whole experience was really taking a toll on her. On top of that, being as clumsy as she was didn’t really make the day any smoother. Only on that day she dropped a cup of incredible hot coffee on a poor guy’s lap, lost all the tips she earned, endured a scolding from the manager and fell on a stinky pond on her way home. Regardless, Arlana didn’t lose her optimism and always found the way to end up the day with a big smile on her face.
The other person in the room, if you could call him that, was a small golden sparrow floating at the edge of the only window of the room. The nineteenth Tarot card, Sun, was in a horrible mood. He couldn’t understand the profound need of humans to break their ass working all day for a piece of colored paper. Arlana was more focused on getting coffee to strangers than on her task and Sun didn’t like that one bit. The other cards where still out there and the girl wasn’t ready for the difficult tasks she would have to do to get them. That had to end; it was time to take the matter on his own hands.
Cursing under its breath, the sparrow flew to girl and bounced a couple of times on her chest. “Lana! Wake up!” Sun screamed while bouncing. “Just five more minutes…” Arlana grunted cuddling herself in the sheets. “Oh for the love of…” muttered Sun “Come on, you lazy flat chested bi…!” he would have probably said something even more offensive if Arlana’s punch didn’t catch him on mid bounce and throw his feathered body across the room. “Take that, you chicken brained brat!” shouted Arlana in a fit of rage as she stormed towards Sun and squeezed him between her hands. “What do you want, Sun?” she asked bitterly. The bird’s golden head peered out between the girl’s hands, swearing every time it moved. “Why the hell would you do that, you dumb…” A good squeeze shut the bad mouthed bird as he squeaked in pain. “Ok, ok! I get it! I’m sorry” hissed Sun as Arlana opened her hands and let the sparrow fly away from her reach. Meanwhile the girl yawned and went to the small and ramshackle fridge looking for something to eat.
“I found something” said Sun in a serious manner. Arlana’s crimson hair waved behind her as she suddenly turned around and faced her companion. “I sense a great deal of magical power somewhere to the west; I think in a placed you humans call Canada. It feels like there are many magical items in the same place and together they emit so much power I can even feel them all the way from here” The golden bird flew to the back of a chair and stood there as he explained.
Arlana was shacking with both excitement and fear. “You think one of the Cards is there?” She asked, whispering. “Maybe” Sun shrugged. The girl felt her legs tremble and sat down on the bed. Canada… it was difficult enough for a small town girl like her trying to live in a big city without friends or family, working for the first time and getting used the idea of the magic of the Tarot Cards but going to another country searching for one of them seemed like too much. Almost as if he was reading his master’s mind, Sun flew towards her and stared into her eyes “If you find it, you’ll be one step closer to fulfilling your promise” he said, without a trace of his usual attitude. The girl stopped shaking and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down “Yeah… I know” she said hesitantly but she stood up and straightened her shoulders. “I guess we should go”. Sun nodded. “Well then, where do we get the money for the plane?”
A few days later, Arlana walked down the streets of Alberta. She was wearing the same worn out blue jeans she used daily, a white t-shirt with a wide neck and a black and blue plaid shirt on top. As the sun went down, Arlana remembered something. “Hey Sun” called Arlana when she walked around a corner to an empty street. The front pocket of her shirt opened and the small golden head of the bird popped out. “I was wondering, back home you said that there were a lot of magical objects together, right?” The bird nodded “So the Tarot Magic isn’t the only magic in the world?” Once again, her question was answered with a silent nod. A bit exasperated of Sun’s silence, Arlana rolled her eyes and asked “How can it be that nobody knows about this? I mean if there is that much magic in the world, how can it be that nobody notices?” Sun shrugged and rested his little beak on the edge of the pocket, gazing to the street with vacant eyes. It was such a weird and cute image that Arlana couldn’t stop herself from smiling, despite knowing Sun’s irritating attitude. “The last time I was around, my masters used magic as a way to show themselves as gods to humans and they were stupid enough to believe that crap, they even built huge monuments to serve as tombs for my masters, isn’t it dumb?” The bird explained as he shook his head in disappointment “Human stupidity always amazes me. Anyway, I don’t really know how things have changed since those times. But I don’t see any ridiculously big pyramids, so I guess magic isn’t as known as it was before”. They remained silent as they walked towards their destination.
“Lana, we’re close. I can sense the place is nearby, but I can’t tell precisely where it is.” Sun warned as they walked “Keep your eyes open”. Arlana gulped and tried to walk as if nothing happened, but she couldn’t stop her knees from shaking. The tarot apprentice grabbed her Minor Arcana deck that was still on her pocket to gather courage and walked forward to the end of the street. "Ugh...where is this thing?!" Arlana heart skipped a beat as she walked around the corner and crashed into the pink haired girl, who was holding a map and shouting in frustration. The red haired girl shrieked and put her hands on her chest as she fell on her butt because of the impact. With her heart galloping on her chest, Arlana took a few deep breaths and looked at the girl. The shouting girl didn't look very old, maybe even younger than Arlana and for some reason that fact calmed her down a little. “I-I’m sorry” she stuttered, with her faint Irish accent as Sun slipped inside the pocket and hid himself “I-I didn’t see you there and y-you really startled me”

Eve burst into the warehouse on the first floor, coat billowing out dramatically as she swung the door open. She marched right past the men in the aisle in her thigh high boots and right up to the front desk. She put her hands on the desk and leaned towards the man behind it. A thick blue scarf covered in tiny Superman shields spilled from her neck onto the desk from around her neck. Her hair was thick and wolly, her body pudgy. "Hi. I take if you're my boss for the day?"
___
Wilson sat quiet in the darkness of his shack. He stared at the stars as he had done for hours, wondering if it would rain. He liked it when it rained. It cooled him. His phone vibrated on the floor. He lunged to grab it, then slowly returned to his resting place. "Wilson. I have a mission for you." A woman spoke through the phone, calm and cool with a Korean accent. Wilson's expression didn't change while the voice on the other end explained everything. When it ended, he stood and walked.
___
A few hours later, he was near, walking in the most direct way through the woods. He didn't mind the twigs on his bare arms. He exited the woods for a second to find himself on a trail. He glanced both ways. Nothing one direction, tiny woman and big woman with a map in the other. He didn't need a map. Or the woman. He kept going, back into the woods. He knew exactly where he was going.

Waybig+Kuma post Since the Sakurajima Incident Rin only had her mind set on one thing, training. Yuriko almost had to force her to stop so they could assist to Haruko’s party. There she met her brother Gen, but as mysteriously as he appeared in the party he vanished afterwards. The Novice Warrior was determined to not let anybody control her fate again and for that purpose she decided to follow her brother’s example. Train until your fingers bleed, your body is worn out and you can barely breathe… then rinse and repeat. Still this was difficult without a proper master and even joining to Inazuma wasn’t enough for her. Yuriko Kazegawa, her best friend, took care of her second issue, not having a cent.
After the events of Osaka, following the example of his older brother, she cut ties with her family and not having anywhere to go Yuriko, who was leading the Kazegawa Agro Empire took her in to her house. Rin, as stubborn as Gen, but much more polite, insisted on paying for her room, something that Yuriko didn’t want her to do. But the youngest Shishioh pride couldn’t be turned off and she decided to take jobs in the BHA, so she could pay for her stay and fund her classes on Inazuma. This situation has been going for a while now and Rin wasn’t liking the results of her, self proclaimed, smart strategy.
Given her late entry and short time in the Hidden World her level wasn’t up to par with more seasoned fighters and even if she had the potential and the skills many times she almost failed during the easiest bounties and missions because she lacked sheer power and the mentality to use it. She didn’t fail yet, but her career as a member of the BHA was less than stellar and the one most upset about her performance was Rin herself. She always had high standards set to her and even if she declared the end of relations with her family those values of perfectionism were still part of her being.
Because of this reasons she trained, using Yuriko’s State third dojo, the smaller and less impressive one, even after Yuriko asked her to use one of the others that were better equipped. Rin dismissed that request, well aware of her condition as a guest, and kept using the smaller dojo, practicing with her weapons and always in deep meditation about her problems. This wasn’t something healthy, because even if some people benefited from silent contemplation and solitary training Rin wasn’t one of them and each day she felt more and more desperate feeling that her advances were getting smaller with each passing day. She needed something to shake her off her funk.
Luckily, sometimes what you don’t expect to happen is more than enough to give you that little push you need to start moving forward once again. This push came in the form of an assignment from the BHA sent by one of their operators, a kind man known as Takeda. Seemingly the American branch, Artemis, was outsourcing a contract they got to protect a storage building in Canada. As Rin filled her BHA form with all her skills they knew she was proficient with English and French so they sent her the information through an email.
Ms. Shishioh BHA Artemis is in dire need of manpower to cover a contract for the protection of a warehouse in Alberta, Canada. Your knowledge of the language puts you up in the list for applicants to the job. Your familiarity with maybe some of the other hired contractors is also placed in account for this decision. If you desire to take the job you will meet your fellow BHA member Goemon Williams in Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Please take your documentation and gear with you. Takeda Shoyo, BHA Yatagarasu.
After receiving this message Rin set out to Haneda Airport, after informing Yuriko, who was busy with work, of her departure and destination. There she waited for her contacts to arrive so they could take the flight towards their job.
In the middle of the Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan rests the Mt. Minobu, an isolated region with forests and mounts that give the ones threading them a sense of disorientation. Here, many years ago, one of the most famous Karate Masters in the story of Japan trained and honed his skills. In recent years a foreigner who amassed an enormous fortune bought the lands, money some called a waste, and built a shack there. From that point onwards the region was filled with strange lights and rumbling sounds, only stopping whenever the man left the mountain.
In a clearing of the thick forests, surrounded by an even thicker mist, under the foot of a large stony hill covered in moss there was a large man standing with a White Gi and a Black Belt, hair standing like mount Olympus in a majestic regent haircut atop his head. He was Goemon Williams, the Karate Star, former B-movie sensation current BHA member and more recently teacher to Jose Hernandez, the Earth Shaker. For that purpose he invited the young bounty hunter to his training grounds and was making him do the same training as Ichigan Nagare gave him.
Over a nearby rock there was an old 80’s music player. The cassette player over the boulder clicked when the lid was closed. A finger pressed on the play key.
-C’mon Hernandez!- Goemon shouted with intensity as he pointed at a very traditional Makiwara standing beside them, it was old, the wood was a bit worn out, but the ropes were new. –Start punching until I tell you to stop.- The Karate Star lifted his fist showing his knuckled to Jose. –These are the kind of weapons you need.- The calluses over them were almost inhuman, Goemon must hit a similar Makiwara for months, at the very least, to obtain such hardened knuckles. His fist changed into a pointing finger. – And no funny business with Stone, you won’t get anywhere if you don’t peel the skin out of your knuckles Hernandez. Just focus on hitting the ropes with a Seiken…-
Goemon stood in front of the Makiwara and took a perfect Karate Stance, checking that Jose was looking. –Like this!- He unleashed a single Seiken that hit the ropes square in the center and a powerful gust of wind, almost a shockwave was released by his honed fists. –Do this until I tell you to stop, just focus on the punch, block everything else.- The Karate Star leaned against the hill steep cliff with his arms closed. Jose didn’t know the important thing about this Makiwara. It would increase in durability and density each 100 punches, forcing him to instinctively adapt the strength he used to punch. Controlling one’s strength was the first step, then it came the Ki control and later the combination of both elements.
Jose bows his head respectful after Goemon's demonstration of the exercise. Before he starts, he quickly tightens the hachimaki around his forehead, then he takes a few steps towards the Makiwara. Before his training with the Karate Star, he would move with all his weight with unnecessary amount of force, yet now his foot steps are as gentle as the breeze in the air. As he approaches ever so closer, he begins to block out everything out and only focuses on the punching post. The whole scenery around him drifts slowly away from him until all that was left was utter darkness surrounding him. The only thing that he himself is still capable of seeing is the Makiwara. Even the wind hitting his Gi no longer seem to register with the man's senses.
He gets into the same stance that his mentor just displayed before him and takes a deep breath. He lets go of the earth and only relies on his inner strength. His eyes no longer guide his first like before, but instead he now follows the path that his new sense of direction reveals to him. Suddenly, a signal flares of in his body, and his first flies true into the post. The speed of his blow is quick and the strength is far behind any regular human could hope to produce, yet the punch is visible inferior to that of his instructor. Still, Jose does not let this fact damage his demeanor. He continues to remain strong and throws another punch and another and another and another and so on. He continues to strike the post at a steady pace over and over again.
After hitting the post a hundred times just fine, he unleashes his hundred and one punch and it strike lands true, just the blow feels off. The change causes a slight pause, yet before long he strikes again with even greater force to adjust for the sudden increase in the Makiwara's durability and density. Ninety-nine punches later and he runs into the same problem before. Jose didn't understand the how, he did realize the unique pattern and condition behind the Makiwara. Still he continues to strike harder and harder to match the post. By the time he reaches into the three hundred range, the skin on his knuckles begin to peel right off. This doesn't stop him in his tracks as he simply tries his best to ignore the pain and continue the training.
Yet, by the 500 mark, his knuckles at this point are completely covered in his own blood and his arms feel ten times heavier. Regardless, his determination and stance remains the same as his initial punch. However unlike the last punches, the next time he attempts to drive the force of his attack straight into the post, the punch dies right on the surface of the Makiwara and Jose's hand starts to shake out of control. At once he knew that he if he throws another punch with this hand, he would must likely shatter all the bones in his entire arm.
"I can't go behind this point."
Goemon walked menacingly towards Jose and placed both his hands over his apprentice shoulders and headbutted him while shouting –Who the hell said you could stop!?- This was also something he learnt from his master Ichigan, but he wasn’t nearly as skilled as Jose had been reaching to 500 in the first go with the Makiwara. Goemon himself gave up around 490, because he had been punching with a broken hand for 80 hits and after losing his focus for a second he unclenched his broken finger and couldn’t form a punch afterwards.
If Jose waited 10 more Goemon might have stopped him, but stopping when the going gets rough wasn’t something one of the Karate Stars students should ever do.
Jose's takes a few steps backwards after receiving the headbutt, yet he remains standing, though if his mentor wanted to, he is sure his head would have been driven into the earth. Still, he looks at his mentor and he bows as he says, "I'm sorry." Though he tries to keep his hand held firmly by his sides during his apology, his hand that hit the Makiwara last refuses to comply to Jose's command to stay still. The hand continues to spasm along with the sensation of intense agony. Though Jose is hiding the pain, he could not conceal the damage that is hand suffered from that last punch.
-Tsk, it doesn’t matter kiddo, but next time do as you are told when you are training under me, understood?- Goemon took a quick glance at Jose’s body and decided that is was time. –Don’t move Hernandez I’m going to do something for your hand, we can’t have you running around with a half broken hand, I just got a job request while you were striking the Makiwara and I plant to have you tag along… So buckle up!- Before Jose could ask “buckle up to what?” Goemon released one of his original techniques on his apprentice, not a deadly fist but a healing fist.
-GUTS!- Goemon shouted as he clocked Jose on the chin. This technique worked under similar theories than the Mountain Slaying Fist, but only the Karate Star gentle heart would allow this technique as he changed the wavelength of his Ki to heal others. Instead of searching for the weak points and cracks inside the object struck to target them, this attack helped those weak points and wounds to heal thanks to Goemon Ki’s impressive vitality.
It would hurt a bit, but anybody affected would be somewhat restored, still he couldn’t do this attack more than once a week on a single individual, too many Guts Punches could prove dangerous as he would be forcing the human body to heal unnaturally too many times. Goemon hoped Jose would be up to the mission at hand, as he planned to keep training him in the battlefield. Throwing the cub into danger and see him in action.
The last thing he was expecting was the uppercut. The punch lands clean on his chin before he could react to the sudden strike. At first, his body seems to collapse, but he plants his feet into the ground and forces himself to stand up. More surprising then the sudden uppercut, is the sensation of relieve of pain. Looking back at his hand, Jose is left with utter awe as his hand returns to normal. All he could do was ask himself, How did he do that?, He looks back at his mentor and friend. Even after spending so much time with him, I still have so much to learn about this man's full capabilities.
He looks back at the Makiwara with the urge to continue his training, but he knew that the job is the more pressing issue at hand. Cracking his neck, he looks at Goemon and says, "Thank you, Master." This time his tone moves slightly away from being his apprentice for a bit and more as a fellow member of the BHA, "I'm ready to go."
-Perfect, let’s roll.- Goemon geared up and waited Jose to do the same before taking his Dekotora Truck, memento of a couple of months he spent part-timing as a truck driver in Osaka. ose goes to his room and begins to change clothes real quick for the mission as Goemon prepares. He puts on a simple red cotton shirt and a pair of fresh black jeans. He uses a beefy dark brown leather belt to keep his pants up. He goes into his closet and grabs a pair of working boots and a dark blue coat.
Once he finishes dressing up, he reaches into his draw and pulls out his BHA license, then heads outside. Jose looks for his mentor and spots him in his overwhelming truck. He sighs to himself and mumbles, "I hope this goes better than the boat ride."The big rig was garishly decorated with lights, loud colors and the painting of mountains with a giant sword cleaving through them. The chrome accessories completed the look, gleaming under the sun while they took a four hours drive towards Haneda. Only from that airport, in which a JHWAB coordinator was placed, Hidden World Denizens could take off and enter the country legally, as the JHWAB checked their equipment. They were going to meet Rin in the Lobby.
The Master and Student pair greeted the youngest Shishioh, who wasn’t too talkative. She said her name was Rin and never mentioned her last name, thus the connection they could do to her brother wasn’t going to happen, she didn’t looked or acted like her brother, she had a bit of the same presence, but her manners and traits were quite different, not to mention she was a looker instead of her short tempered older brother who wasn’t as gifted in the looks department. They boarded the plane and reached Canada after a dozen of hours, in which Rin didn’t talk to them, as she was trying to be all business. Hopefully somebody from the company would pick them up or send a transport to the job location.

Owen’s Grudge and the Hunting Wolf
It had been at least a few months since the Gentleman Bounty Hunter encountered Crow Cementerio, an encounter he swore he would never live down. Owen had sworn a personal grudge against the fellow bounty hunter for striking him in the face after their job dealing with the nefarious Neo Phantom in London. And while the bruise has long since faded and didn’t leave even a mark behind, thanks to countless treatments, the flames of rage never cease for a moment just thinking about the incident and how angry it made him disgusted them. Since then Owen Soleil has been determined to pay Crow back for the humiliation he felt and one up the Gun-slinging Bounty Hunter.
Owen had become picky with what bounties he wanted to take in order to gain more fame amongst the higher ups so he could become able to take the Star Trial to become a Silver Star and be better that much better Crow. This one posted by Mason's Magical Storage seemed perfect. Owen walked down the Canadian street to the magical item storage facility with an air of “grace”. He wore a white button down shirt black pants and shoes and a black cape with pink and gold flower designs and white gloves. The Gentleman Bounty Hunter also had on ornate pink hat large puffy pink plume and flowers. The cape bellowed in the wind as he walked and spoke out loud enjoying the night air. “Ah Canada how Un-American you are. With your European like clean energy, policies, and morals you are American better behaved sister…yet your blatant copying of Europe’s appeal is a veiled attempt to be better instead of trying to improve yourself unique….it sickens me!”
Owen entered Mason’s Magical Storage with an air of flair as his cape flowed around him. “Mason’s Magical Storage…your savior has arrived in the form of the Gentleman Bounty Hunter, Owen Soleil. However your lack of security and need to rely on other shows how unprepared you truly are to handle dangerous magical artifacts…it sickens me!” Before the bounty hunter could continue his rant his eye was drawn but the presence of Eve he vaguely recognized her. “What organization has sent you my dear? I don’t recognize you from any branch of the BHA and you don’t seem like the type to work for the JHWAB.”
Meanwhile….
As Owen potentially signed his own death warrant another Bounty Hunter was arriving near Mason’s Magical Supplies. Finn McGuinness also known in the BHA as the Battle Wolf was currently sniffing at the air trying to locate the location for this job. It was very particular the BHA: Artemis Branch had originally put this out there but it seemed like certain members turned this down so it was out sourced to other branches. At least one other Artemis Bounty Hunter had picked up but Finn barely recognized the name along with the other two, from the Yatagarasu Branch. As for the one from the Fernir Branch, Owen Soleil, was well known amongst the other branches and was currently a joke to the Artemis Branch because Crow Cementerio clocked him one. The Bronze Star Wolf snicker a little to himself a he pictured this image however it didn’t matter to him how many other Bounty Hunters took the job he would be the shiny star by the end of the night.
Finn was the personification of savage and unkempt with medium length shaggy black hair and fierce dark eyes he resembled the wolves he called family. Wearing a grey jacket with fur along the hood and sleeves and dark jeans both of which had many discolored patches sewn into it. Finn didn’t wear shoes or socks instead had white bandage wrappings around his heel and soles of his feet matching the wrappings on his hands. Taking another whiff of the air the Battle Wolf stuck his tongue out. “Argh! This place reeks of something strange. I hate towns like these there is always something shady places that are too small to important but too large to be unnoticed.” The Lone Wolf stuck his hand in his jacket pockets exposing the belt that contained to sheathed knives, his signature weapon, along with several pill filled vials. “Anyway this Mason’s Magical Storage place shouldn’t be too far. I can smell dust, cardboard boxes, plastic wrap, and urgh…cleaning products in air.”
It wasn’t long before the Battle Wolf heard a slight ruckus not too far from him (Haruko and Arlana colliding). “What the hell is that noise?! Don’t tell me this place is being attacked already. Fine by me this wolf is ready to hunt!” Finn took a stance on his hands and knees before sprinting like an animal towards the girl’s location. He thought he would find a magical item storage facility overrun by ninjas…man how he hoped to fight ninjas however what he found were two girls next to each other. The Wolf slid to a halt and looked from one girl to the other, he wore a slightly disturbing and menacing grin on his face bearing his sharpen K9 teeth. This was a nervous tick he had developed as a child and was unable to overcome so far. The Battle Wolf sniff the air a little trying to determine of the two females were friend or foe. “Um who the hell are you two? Are you employees of Mason’s Magical Storage or just two dumb girls who got lost and were trying to call for help?” Being raised by wolves made one lack grace when it came to social situations and especially women, if Finn wasn’t distracted he may had noticed the man walking in the woods not far from them when he heard a twig snap.

Arthur's neck, legs and arms were starting to cramp up. He had spent just a bit over an hour flying to here all the way from Britain at full speed, using nothing but his frost wings. Needless to say, it was not the most comfortable flight. Even airplane food would have made it a bit more enjoyable, especially if it was brought by a hot stewardess. Well, he had no one to blame for this but himself. Loveline did try to get him to take a plane, get to Canada early, but nooooo.
On the bright side, once he crossed the ocean and got here, the view got a bit more lively with all the people scurrying around down below. As he got close to his destination, he thought he saw someone familiar bumping into someone else. Then he realized that he really did. Not many people had pink hair like that. He dispelled his frozen wings and yelled: "Hey, Ruko! Watch your head!"
His landing on his feet, creating small cracks in the ground and sending dust and pebbles flying everywhere. That's when he remembered that Haruko wasn't the only person here and he hoped that the others were aware of the hidden world, too.

Stumbling backwards, Haruko manages to catch her balance by pinwheeling her arms backwards after running into the young red-haired girl, causing her to fall down. "Ow...sorry, I didn't see you there. It's alright." Walking over to Arlana, Haruko looks down and offers her hand to pull her up onto her feet. "Here, I'll help you out. Are you headed to the warehouse as well?" Haruko couldn't think of many other places one would go to in this area, so that was a decent guess she figured. Looking up at Haruko, Arlana would see that the pink-haired woman wore a light purple button-up shirt, and a pair of black pants that had a few pockets filled with tiny knives that would no unnoticed unless someone were paying attention. The seamstress also wore her black coat over the shirt, which was filled with her usual gear for going on a trip that may involve combat. No sooner than when Haruko offered to help Arlana back onto her feet, the two were soon joined by a rather loud and scraggly-looking man wearing a brown coat and having large, sharp teeth. Shaking her head, Haruko lowers her right eyebrow slightly at Finn in confusion. "No, neither of us were calling out for help. But yes, I am headed to the storage facility to help them out." Ignoring the obvious rips and tears in his outfit that bugged a seamstress like her, Haruko continued. "I take it you're also going there, mister...?"And right on cue, a fourth person joins the scene, flying in from the sky and scattering pebbles everywhere. This was certainly turning into a party now, wasn't it? All she needed was someone to ask for directions, not an entire mob to descend onto her location. Luckily, this person was actually someone she knew and was friends with. "Hey, Frosty! What are you doing all the way out here? Could it be you have also taken this job?!" Smirking at Arthur, Haruko folds up the map and places it into her coat. Glancing between the three of them, the seamstress begins once more. "Ok, I guess this can work. Does anyone know exactly where that storage place is? My map's kinda dated, and cell connection out here is pretty choppy." She really hoped that one of them knew where they were going. If not, at least Arthur could fly up and find it from the sky. --- Pulling up to the airport parking lot, a large black van maneuvers it's way into a parking space near the section of the airport where Jose, Goemon and Rin were due to arrive. Stepping out of the front seat was a tall, brown-haired man that looked to be in his 30's. He wore a dark blue suit, white undershirt, and a long yellow tie that went down his shirt. His hair was somewhat spiky, going down to his neck, and his posture was proper...yet relaxed. The man began adjusting his cuffs slightly as he locked the car and started towards the airport. "Three people to pick up, huh? They're sure calling in a lot of help for this job. A little too much, if you ask me." He mumbles to himself as the man enters the airport, having already seen pictures of the three he was supposed to pick up. After scanning the area for a few seconds, he finally spots the three martial artists and walks over to them. "Good evening. I'm Emil Roberts, representing MMS's security team. Would you three happen to be Rin, Goemon and Jose? I've been requested to bring them to the job site." Emil had a decent idea that these three were the ones he needed to pick up, but he had to be sure. He even made sure not to say the organization's full name, as there are non-HW people at the airport as well, and they could hear their conversations.
---
Stepping back slightly in surprise at Eve's forward and flashy introduction, the man behind the counter nodded his head. "Yes, that is correct. Allow me to introduce myself; I am Louis Mason, owner of this facility. As you can guess, it's been passed down in my family for generations, storing all kinds of magical artifacts safely and securely." Louis seemed to take great pride in his previous statement, but his expression soon develops a frown as he looks back at Eve. "But I'm sure you've seen our ad, and how we need extra security while we work on shipping everything to different facilities around the world." Sifting through a stack of papers, he brings one out with a blue pen in his hands. "May I have your name, so I can put you on the payroll for the night, miss?"
Nearby, Aria and Sarah's groups continue their investigation. Strangely enough...a few of these boxes were coated in anti-magic metals that would render nearly all magical attempts at getting inside useless, even to lockpicking spells. The aisles were filled with more of these extra protected boxes the further back they went into the facility. Strangely enough...the amount of dust that covered these boxes seemed to grow the further back they went into the warehouse. It was as if some of these items had been sitting here for decades, forgotten to the world at large.

Wilson continued his trek until he reached the warehouse. He walked slowly around to the door and hesitated. Indoors. He didn't like working indoors, but he so often had to. He stepped in and began looking over the aisles. He wandered away from the entrance, wandering calmly through the aisles. Eventually, he made his way up to the top floor and began to notice people without employee uniforms walking around. He walked past them to look out the window. That was much more interesting to him.
___
Eve proudly tilted her hat. "I am Eve Harper, leader of the Wild Hunt!" She declared to both Louis and Owen before turning to see Owen. Her eyes widened as his feathered hat and fancy coat. "Hey, Louis the whatever, how's that divine right of kings stuff going for you?" Her face went back to normal with the jab.

Despite having her life destroyed by a fire just a few months ago and finding out the magic of the Arcana, Arlana was confident that she could carry on living a normal life while she looked for the rest of the cards to fulfill her father’s last wish and her own. Not even on her wildest dreams she could imagine something as large, complex and incredible as the Hidden world was lurking in the shadows, behind the scenes. And boy, she was in for a trip.
As she took Haruko’s hand and stood up, Arlana couldn’t help but to feel a bit ashamed. The pink haired girl was wearing stylish clothes that really made her, lacking any other words to describe it, look cool and Arlana was in the other end of that train. The fire burned down not only her house, but all her belongings and she had been wearing just a couple of different outfits those past months. Her shirt was a couple of numbers over her slim body and her jeans were worn out and they even had a substantial cut the knees. She didn’t saw the small silver glimmers of Haruko’s knives as she stood up and even if she wasn’t so engrossed in her own embarrassment, they would go unnoticed. But she did feel something strange, like a faint tingling on her hand when she let go of the pink haired girl.
“Thanks” Arlana replied “Warehouse? I don’t…” just as she was starting to feel a bit more calm a fierce and savage looking man passed right next to her in a blur and stopped abruptly next to the girls. With a wolfish grin on his face and very, very pointy teeths, the man seemed more like a beast than a human. Arlana was a dog person, but she wasn’t ready to see an actual dog person in the middle of Canada. The poor girl stayed completely paralyzed in surprise and didn’t move a single muscle as the wild man sniffed around her. Haruko, in the other hand, seemed strangely unconcerned and replied the man’s questions with ease.
If Haruko and Finn were to walk away, Arlana would surely stay petrified there for a good amount of time. Luckily (or in this case, unluckily for her), an acquaintance of Haruko appeared and made Arlana snap out of her shock as he fell down from the sky and cracking the ground under his feet. He casually greeted Haruko. The guy looked almost as young as Haruko and Arlana. She, in a normal situation, would think he was kind of cute but that was eclipsed by the long ice wings that emerge from the boy’s back.
Rigidly, Arlana turned around with eyes wide open and felt as if her soul was leaving her body when she sighed violently. What was going on? Where did those guys came from? WHY DID HE HAVE ICE WINGS? The questions danced through Arlana’s head like a parade. “Hey, Lana!” Peering from inside her shirt, Sun poked his small head out between her bra and whispered “We’re on the right track! Those guys said something about a magic storage!” Arlana was about to reply, but Sun interrupted her in a hurry. “We don’t have time for this now. Stick with them and try to find something. I’ll transform back into my card.” As the small sparrow made his way back to her pocket through her clothes, he threatened “Don’t tell them anything about the Mayor Arcana or I’ll promise I’ll jump to your bed at night and burn all your hair down!”
All of this was just ridiculous. Taking a deep breath, the Tarot Apprentice turned around and trying not to stare into the boy’s wings or the savage man’s teeth she stuttered “I-I’m trying to get to that storage too” she was hoping those weird persons took her stuttering as a sign of shyness and not fear “Is it near here?”

"Ah, great, looks like we're all heading to the same place. Guess I'll be the GPS then." Arthur stretched trying to regain feeling in his arms and legs. "And if you could stop grinning like a serial killer, that would be just swell Mr. Beasty."
He started walking in the direction of the warehouse but quickly remembered he forgot something very important. "Oh, right, right. If we'll be working together, introductions are in order. I'm Arthur Cromwell, ice mage extraordinaire. And you must be new to the Hidden World." The last sentence was aimed at Arlana. She seemed shocked by all the things that happened a minute ago, things that would seem relatively normal to someone who spent enough time as part of the Hidden world.
"I'll be honest, you probably chose the worst possible job as a newbie Hidden Worlder. Unless you were a serial killer before you got your powers, but you don't look like one to me. " He could still see a glint of innocence in her eyes. Poor girl probably had no idea what she was getting into.

Rin didn’t even talk to the other two, she was silent until the stylish man working for MMS talked to them. –Ms. Shishioh. - She corrected in impeccable English. –The faster we do this the better, I don’t plan to stay talking here and waste my time in idle chatter.- Her tone was as icy as her eyes, but this was just a front, a shell of isolation to protect herself from any kind of connections. The death of her brother was too much for her, no matter how much they told her he died as a hero, all this because of her involvement in his capture last year… if she opposed her parents instead of trying to use Gen as a bargaining chip he might still be alive. - -Mr.Roberts so nice to meet you, I’m Goemon Williams.- The Karate Star struck a posse, almost like a CV photo one. -You may remember me from movies like “Six Hundred and Sixty Six Red Ninjas”, “Death in the Ocean III: Shamu’s Revenge” and “Dances with Kung Fu Werewolves”- Goemon introduced himself with some of the many films he starred during his hectic B-movie Stardom years. –But know I’m here to help you out and kick ass, two things I’m really good at, so lead the way and I’ll dispense the beating to anybody who gets in our way.- He turned to face Jose pointing him with his thumb. –And he’ll help!-

Jose nods his head as Goemon mentions him. "I'll do my best." He glances real quick at Rin. He didn't really know what to say to her. Even though she was standing so close, it feels as if she is on the other side of the planet. He walks towards Mr Roberts and offers a handshake, "Jose Hernandez and I'm ready to work." He didn't really know what exactly to expect from this assignment, but he plans to use this experience to better himself.

Meeting New Partners
It seemed as though both Bounty Hunters Owen and Finn were not getting along with their potential partners for the night. At the office of Mason’s Magical Storage the Almost Always Elegant Bounty Hunter Owen merely chuckled slightly as Eve’s comment. “Hmm while I would applaud you for your historical theme jab. I rather not commend bad behavior. Your jabs only speak to a personality that thrives off putting down people. Unlike myself my personality blooms from critiquing those around me politely to make them into a better more civilized person, frankly your shallowness….sickens me!” With ever the air of dramatic flair the Gentleman Bounty Hunter pulled off his cape before folding it into a perfect triangle and handing it to the nearest person….Eve as he approached the desk. “I’m Owen Soleil of the Bounty Hunter Association, Fernir Branch. Now would you kindly escort for me to the head of tonight’s operation.” It seemed that Owen was in no hurry to make friends with anyone tonight meanwhile Finn was doing only slightly better as he met Arthur, Haruko, and Arlana.
The Battle Wolf Bounty Hunter glared at the man who arrived from the sky with wings of ice, “Mr. Beasty?! Listen Snow Blower if you want a fight I ain’t backing down from anybody!” Finn crossed his arms in frustration as he muttered under his breath, “Besides it’s a facial tick.” It soon became apparent that the group would be working together tonight. “I’m Finn McGuinness, I’m here on bounty with the Bounty Hunter Association, Artemis Branch. Nice to meet yall.” The Battle Wolf glared at Arlana with his wolfish grin again, “I knew I smelled a newb amongst you two girls! It couldn’t be the pink hair gal with the flat chest she smelled of flowers, different cloths and fabrics, metal and…..wait is that.” Finn looked at Haruko and smelled the air around her, “Gunpowder, whiskey, and motorcycle oil….Hey Girlie do you know Crow Cementerio? Do you know where he is? It seems like he dropped off the grid in the BHA for a while?

Haruko was taken aback slightly by Finn's question. Did she really smell like gunpowder, whiskey and motorcycle oil?! The Battle Seamstress subtly sniffed herself, but the only smell she could find was just the small amount of perfume she put on today. Turning her attention back to Finn, she shakes her head. "As a matter of fact, I do know Crow. I've even worked with the cowboy on a few occasions. As for where he is...I couldn't tell you to be honest. I have his phone number if you need to reach him for something." Oddly enough, Haruko hadn't seen Zappy(Crow) for a while now, and it was likely his phone would be unreachable as well if he has gone off the grid. What could make Crow go into hiding like that?
Looking back at Arthur and Arlana, Haruko nods her head at what Arthur said to the young tarot wielder. "He's right...it can get pretty dangerous here. Are you sure you're up for the task, if you're just now finding out about the weirder stuff present in this world?" Thinking for a moment, Haruko remembers something. "Oh, right. I'm Haruko Miyata, by the way. World famous seamstress and all around cool person." Haruko of course stated that last sentence is a half-joking manner, wanting to lighten the tension in the situation a little.
---
"Right, my apologies Ms. Shishioh. We are delighted to have you with us today." Eyes lighting up for a second, Emil grows a visible smile on his face as he hears Goemon list off the movies he had been in. "Six Hundred and Sixty Six Red Ninjas?! I loved that movi-ahem." Straightening his jacket slightly, Emil takes a short breath to clear his head. "...apologies, I'm here for work and can't be that excited. I am sure you all will be able to help out soon enough" Shaking Jose's hand, Emil makes a slight, respectful bow as he lets go of the shake. "Right, that's everyone. Please, follow me to my van and we'll be there in no time." And with that, he leads the trio outside and to the shiny black van he had arrived here in. He made sure everyone was inside...then smiles slightly as he begins pressing a few buttons on the car's dashboard.
"Just so you're aware...I'm not actually going to drive you all there. Just watch." Pressing down the gas pedal, the security officer began driving down the road, turning into the near pitch black parking garage next to the airport parking lot. He drives them to a particularly dark corner of the lot, and turns off the headlights. Then, with a flick of a tiny switch on the dash, the van is suddenly flooded with afternoon daylight...the van now being outside, among a group of other trucks next to a warehouse. Emil continued to look forward, nodding his head. "Yep, this thing was outfitted to teleport groups of people here. I just couldn't make an entire van disappear among a parking lot full of people. Welcome to MMS." With that, Emil opens his door and opens the backseat driver's side door, letting out whomever decided to take that seat. "So, do you all have any questions before signing in?"
---
At the front desk, Louis wrote down Eve and Owen's names on a piece of paper, ignoring both of their...unique attitudes toward each other. "Ok Miss. Harper and Mr. Solei, I'm the head of tonight's operation. We have three different stations that need to be filled; the front entrance, the truck loading area on the west side of the building, and the warehouse's upper deck. Which position would you both like to guard?" Grumbling slightly, Louis briefly looked over at the HWIC agents, before turning back to Eve and Owen.

Arlana couldn’t help but feel a little (more than a little, actually) out of place there, in a shady part of a town in Canada surrounded by all those strange individuals. They seemed really comfortable and casually chatted with each other, while she couldn’t even close her surprised eyes and speak a couple of words without stuttering with every syllable. How did a regular seventeen year old Irish girl from a small town like her ended up getting into all this? It wasn’t a wonder that all of those weird and fantastic persons realized easily that she didn’t belong to that world.
She, feeling kind of discouraged, was about to turn around and leave. For her that place seemed to the gateway way to a new, strange and overall scary world and Arlana didn’t think she was ready to go through it. The read haired girl was about to ask Sun if they could leave but then remembered that her bad-mouthed friend wasn’t there, he had hid his presence inside the long and colorful card on her pocket. She hadn’t realized, she was really alone this time. Sun had been constantly with her since she left her home, keeping her company and distracting her from the pain with his curses and irritating comments. The first days after the incident, she was terrified of being alone and in fact Sun had revealed himself when she was immersed on a devastating cry and (although he would never admit it) the fiery sparrow appeared to comfort her, never leaving her side ever since. But this time was different. The girl found out that being alone wasn’t as scary as before, the wounds were already healing without her noticing it.
“Well… I guess I’m alone on this one” she thought and as the winged guy, the wolf-man and the pink haired girl all introduced themselves (Haruko, what a weird name! It’s Chinese?) Arlana took a deep breath and comforted with the thought that those guys knew she was new to that world, but didn’t know that she had absolutely no clue what the Hidden World was. Then, she stepped through that gateway, which now didn’t seem as scary. With clear and firm voice, Arlana introduced herself “I’m Arlana Ethne Caswallan and… well I don’t have a tittle, but you can call me Lana if you want…” The confidence on her voice slowly started to fade as she ended up staring nervously at the ground. Scratching her cheek with one finger, she continued “Yeah, I’m new to all this. But I won’t be a nuisance, I promise!” then she looked at Arthur “So… ehm… Frosty, was it?” She asked timidly “You said you knew where this place was, right?”.

Wilson wondered if he was missing something. The window was nice, but he had something to do. He turned and walked down the stairs, following his tracks back to the front desk. He waited calmly for Eve and Owen to be done. At that moment, Eve had just insulted Owen and was giggling at his response. She took his cape as a reflex and looked at it for a second in surprise. Wilson stepped forward and spoke. "Upper deck, please." He whispered. Eve shuddered a little and tugged the scarf tighter. She nudged past Owen to announce her decision, Owen's cape now flowing over her coat. "Truck loading area!" She insisted. Huge machines were all kinds of fun.

-If you have a copy of the DVD I can sign it for you.- Goemon smiled. –I like well organized operations, it reminds me of my time as an actor.- The Karate Star didn’t doubt that something shady must be about to go down in this storage if they were hiring so many independent contractors, as he had some contacts in BHA fill him in when he travelled to Haneda Airport on his truck. –So I don’t have any questions… for you at least.- He turned to face Rin, who was silent, looking out the window. –Missy, you said your last name was Shishioh… as in Gen Shishioh? - Goemon had his suspicions as her Ki was similar to Gen’s, giving him the same eerie nostalgic feeling as the Boxer’s did.
Rin looked at Goemon, her uninterested glance turning gradually into a burning glare. She clucked her tongue with disgust and looked away. She didn’t want to talk about Gen, why people kept trying to bring him up, she didn’t need to be reminded of her mistakes and failures. Goemon, unable to read the mood, kept talking. –I just wanted to offer my condolences I was there when it happened I owe your brother my life, a lot of people own their lives to him.- The Karate Star extended his hand to pat Rin’s shoulder but she moved out of the way. Goemon retracted his hand while telling here this. –Your brother burned brighter than anybody I saw… he was a true man.-
Rin didn’t want to hear this and she got off the van looking at the sky, ignoring Goemon’s call. –Hey missy! Wait up!- The Karate Star looked at the others shrugging. –What did I say?-

Jose didn't response to Goemon, as he was too busy reflecting on the past once Gen's name is mention. He turns his eyes towards Gen's sister for a moment. He wishes he could say the right words to her, yet he is pathetic in these types of situations. Besides, she seems to be the type that wants to be left alone. Still, ge silently thanks Gen in his head and offers a quick pray for his soul. Afterwards, he proceeds to step out of the van and says to his mentor and friend, "We should go sign in." Once he is outside the car, he offers Emil a small gesture as he thanks him for the lift/teleportation before he walks to the front desk. After learning about the different locations that he can guard for tonight, he decides on..."I will go protect the Upper Deck."

The Assignment
The Gentleman Bounty Hunter considered the three options carefully he wanted the position that give him the greatest opportunity to claim the spotlight and gain renown quickly. The truck loading area would be the most likely target of any assailant because it would be when the precious cargo was the most vulnerable. “I will be taking the truck loading area as well after all. What kind of Gentleman do you take me to be leaving the lady to handle perhaps the more dangerous area by herself? Your ignorance of the ways of a Gentleman…sicken me.” With a dramatic flair Owen picked up the sign in sheet and wrote him name down with the most elegant cursive writing one could possibly see. While signing the bounty hunter held an arrogant smirk as he began to put in motion his plans to out shine Crow Cementerio. First he will outshine any other agents he was working with tonight on this assignment.
Meanwhile Finn was getting to know his partners for the night, mentally he sized them up individually. The Battle Wolf wasn’t a particularly mean or judgmental person but being raised by wolves did create a certain mindset of survival of the fittest. He didn’t need to question the metal of the Ice Mage he seemed like he had been around the Hidden World corner quite a few times and could handle most obstacles. The seamstress he had concerns about but if she had been around Crow Cemtenerio then she must be pretty tough considering that the Rail-gun had quite a reputation among other bounty hunters. However Arlana was the one Finn had concerns over it was easy for anyone who was just entering the vast unknown called the Hidden World unprepared might find themselves completely overwhelmed. Finn gave a toothy smirk as the Tarot Reader made her comment about not holding them back. “Well you haven’t chicken out just yet so you are on the right track. Nice to meet you Arlana and you as well Haruko.”
The Battle Wolf sniffed at the air again when Arlana asked about the location of Mason’s Magical Storage, “My best bet is that storage place for this job is that way. I been tracking the scent of dust, cardboard, and cleaning products all night. It seems there is a whole bunch of people there as well their scent is getting stronger by the second.” Finn turned to Haruko again, “I wouldn’t say I want to get in touch with Cementerio. It’s just I probably wouldn’t be a bounty hunter if it wasn’t for him. And there are some questions I want to ask him because a lot of the other Bounty Hunters are starting to say things. I want to know if those things are true because his current absence isn’t really helping his case.” Finn stuffed his hands into his jacket pockets and continued forward he the rumors about Crow were certainly spreading like wild fire, the Bounty Hunting Wolf had taken his job for a few reasons one of them was that he hoped Crow Cementerio would be here as well. However it seemed like Haruko’s presence might help actually.

Arthur was already walking toward the warehouse. "It's Arthur, but feel free to call me whatever you want." He told Arlana, although he was a bit salty about her using Haruko's nickname for him, not that he let that be known. "Don't worry, kid, I'll make sure you don't get hurt too much."
Overhearing the conversation Beasty and Haruko were having, Arthur asked the wolf-raised bounty hunter, "So what's being said about that guy?"
