KUMA'S CHARACTERS
Gen Shishioh
Loudmouthed, easy to anger and quick for fights. Gen Shishioh is a Spirit Boxer, member of a creative league of superhuman fighters who adhere to the sweet science as their main fighting style. Gen is a former delinquent and current runaway, as he left his family behind, the extremely wealthy Shishioh Family, owners of the Shishioh Zaibatsu. He is the older brother of Rin Shishioh and the student of Reiji Fukuma.
2013Gen started his career in the perilous “Hellscraper”, was involved in the dangerous “Prison Break” in Scotland from were several super powered criminals escaped (See Masako Hihashi). Dismayed of his own weakness he searched far and wide for a Master and found Reiji Fukuma and left public life to train. He ended the year fighting several matches in the “Underground Arena” in Osaka run by Aoki Aoiminato, the Osaka God of Gambling.
2014Gen went to train to Sakurajima, the island of his master Reiji Fukuma, in “Training from Hell”. He enrolled to “Inazuma Gakuen” and started assisting school there. Later his parents put a bounty on his head and he was captured during the events of “Oh Son Where Art Thou”. A group of friends, rivals and acquaintances gathered to save him in “Osaka Ablaze” and they were successful.
He returned to Sakurajima and was sent by Reiji, who was under the influence of Kuro-san (see Kuro-san) to Romania to handle a rescue mission. Alongside other heroes he fought in “A Night at the Castle” against the Vampiric Knights created by Sakka Jaakuma (See Sakka). He was injured during that adventure and in “The Cave” Reiji Fukuma decided to heal him using an ancient ritual involving Gainen Medals in Sakurajima. He sacrificed himself to stop a Gainen in the finale of this event, launching himself and the dangerous foe into space.
Gen appeared in Haruko Miyata’s Party in “The Vice Before Christmas” but he vanished after saying his goodbyes to his sister and friends.
2015Under the guise of Ikki Ryusei, Gen Shishioh was present during the Shonen Event. He wasn't in control of his actions and didn't seem to have any memories of his past. After a confrontation with Shin Bushitora and Shin Mizukara he disappeared.
2016
A team of JHWAB hired help found Gen Shishioh inside a mysterious lab
in a Pacific Island. He seemed to have been kept captive for months, trapped in a dinosaur alternate dimension.
Gen teamed up with his sister Rin to investigate a mysterious summon to an island. There he met with friends and comrades in arms. Gen managed to bond with his Gainen <Battle> and unlocked his transformation. He met his master's master.
Callis Nomene
A Knight from another Dimension, Callis Nomene is a half human, half beastman warrior from a world called Centris. He is shy, awful at talking to women and tries to avoid conflict. But paradoxically he is a master swordsman and seasoned veteran of several wars. He currently works for the BHA and has good relations with the JHWAB. He doesn’t open his heart to others, trying always to stay at some distance. Inside of his body he holds a fraction of Yami Kizuato’s, an agent of the JHWAB, powers.
2013Callis arrived from Centris (His home dimension) and joined the BHA (first time) and was part of the protection of Usso Namae in “Game of Shadows” alongside Crow Cementerio. His memory was erased by Kuro-san and his interactions were also erased from the BHA and JHWAB files.
2014Callis joined the group FCL to raid a tomb in “Phantom’s Tomb Raid” and ended up quite traumatized. He managed to return to Japan and ended up joining the BHA once again during the events of “A Place to Call Home”. He joined up the unorthodox team of heroes that attacked the Fictional Castle created by Sakka Jaakuma during “A Night at the Castle”.
Once again he entered into adventures in Europe, joining an assault to a hijacked train in the “An Unexpected Train Ride” incident. Working for the BHA as extra muscle for a JHWAB during the so called Sakurajima Incident in “The Cave”, during this situation he received a fraction of Yami Kizuato’s powers. He assisted to Haruko Miyata’s Party in The Vice Before Christmas”.
2015Callis was involved with a conflict against a group of hired criminals who planned to steal a relic from Kyoto during “Kyoto Heist”. He is currently assisting to the meeting of the Smith family as the bodyguard of Roshi Yasumori, leader of the JHWAB, in "Smith Family Reunion". He joined up with a group of mercenaries and bounty hunters to help a clan of Ogres in "Big Strong Hands"
2016He was elected by the JHWAB to lead a team of mercenaries and adventurers to investigate a strange signal in the north Pacific during the events of "The Lament of Dr. Lazarus"
He teamed up with Aria, the leader of a native american tribe, to investigate a secret Aztec Ruin, hidden in the deserts of the border between Mexico and USA.
Kuro-san
An enigmatic mastermind criminal, Kuro-san used to hold sway over the criminal underworld of Japan, but he abandoned his position as archipelago’s lead kingpin for mysterious reasons. He didn’t just left his organization, he managed to obtain the Gainen Medal of Memory and used it to erase his identity from every mind in the planet. Now he plots from the shadows, playing a game of chess nobody can see.
2013Kuro-san influenced the “Break-Out” in Black Rock Prison, getting Masako Hihashi from his cell and training him to become a Telekinetic Assassin. In “Game of Shadows” He celebrated the last party as Usso Namae, his previous alias, so he could erase the memories of many guests and other individuals who had glimpses of his real identity. He also planned an assault on an old WWII artificial island where an old submarine carrying an alien metal was being studied. (See Masako Hihashi for more information)
Around the middle of the year he used the Gainen Medal with some kind of enhancing device to create a wave of Conceptual Energy that erased him from the memories of everybody around the world. The party was just a test for the Gainen Medal effectiveness and after being confirmed of its powers he used with the device crafted by a team of 3 Scientists working for him, Kago, Lazarus and Shikishima.
Kuro-san resurfaces in Ryugu-jo, first sending Tsukimori-san, his right hand man, impersonating him. He needed some elements from the Labs and he also was going to take advantage of the situation by leaving Ichigan Nagare to die, isolating Reiji Fukuma, but Ichigan sacrificed himself on his own. He sponsored Gen Shishioh’s entry to the Underground Fighting Arena in Osaka.
2014Kuro-san influenced Mamoru Iyana to send attacks towards Sakurajima during “Training from Hell” to isolate Reiji from the JHWAB. He also sent assassins to London in “Hitomi’s Hairy Situation” to distract the attention of the European Hidden World Organizations while Sakka Jaakuma set up Orasul Sange.
He influenced the Shishioh Family towards capturing Gen in “Oh Son Where Art Thou”, and in “Osaka Ablaze” after paying Dr. Kago’s services with Masako Hihashi and a vial of Crow Cementerio Blood taken by Falken Degiraz in “Identity Theft”. Sakka Jaakuma created the Castle of Orasul Sange in “A Night at the Castle” to injure Gen Shishioh and force Reiji Fukuma to heal him.
He crashed the Hidden World Organizations Meeting in “So Long And Thanks For All The Steak” informing the people present the existence of the Asura King and extra dimensional being that was incoming to our dimension to destroy it. Seemingly his actions are set to prepare the world for the incoming conflict, yet there is no actual evidence of his claims.
He orchestrated the events that caused “The Cave” and during that story he encountered Reiji Fukuma inside the Gainen Space, revealing he has a secondary Gateway to the extra-dimensional space. He also admitted manipulating Reiji and stealing the medals for his own purposes. Using the Memory Medal he manifested Wild Battle into reality, taking it from Reiji Fukuma’s memories.
In “Going for the Kill” he sent Assassin’s against two individuals, but truly those were distractions to hide his actions from two Hidden World Organizations, taking valuable information and resources from secret locations while also releasing Dr. Shikishima, who was trapped in a Brazilian prison after he escaped Japan last year.
2015Kuro-san started a scheme in China, trying to alter the balance of the Four Divine Beasts for still unknown purposes in “The Big Hunt”.
In “Kyoto Heist” He hired two criminals, Akuto Akunin and Beatrix Malvelant to steal a relic from a museum in Nijo Castle in Japan.
Seemingly he was behind Sakka Jaakuma's actions in "Shonen Effect"
He sent Ikari Fukushi on a mission to Siberia during the events of "Big Strong Hands"
2016He abandoned his temporary HQ in Lazarus Labs, moving to a different area.
2017He formed a partnership with Marika Arachne, giving her the location of a treasure trove of body parts in exchange of her help with certain mission.
Falken Degiraz
Created by the enigmatic organization Trinity Gate, Falken Degiraz is a highly advanced cyborg who had extensive training in tactics, firearms and close quarters combat among other things. He uses a pocket dimension to contain his arsenal, which he summons depending on the situation. Falken is cocky, arrogant and full of himself, but he is quite impressive to say the least, when the mission is to kill, murder or destroy. Falken works for the highest bidder.
2013
Falken exterminated a Yakuza group in “Shinjuku Shock”, under orders of Kuro-san. He helped in the nefarious plot to release super powered prisoners in “Break-Out”. He helps Kuro-san and Ikari Fukushi against Reiji Fukuma and gets his mind and mainframe wiped of Kuro-san memories.
2014
Falken works at “Inazuma Gakuen” as the mentor for Velvela Gedide. He travels to America, hired by Dr. Kago to acquire a DNA sample of Crow Cementerio during the events of “Identity Theft”. He helped in some minor jobs the rest of the year, nothing of note.
2015
Falken joined up forces with Garo Takayama, Eve Harper and Alexander Stevenson in a desolate mountain range in China to hunt the Corrupted Suzaku, one of the 4 Divine Beasts of China in “The Big Hunt”. This team joins up again under request of Eve Harper to hunt Byakko the white tiger in “Hell in Heavenly Lake”. Falken is still a mentor in Inazuma Gakuen. He re-joined the Hunters under Minister Hou's order to find and stop Genbu from causing an international incident in "Winter Nightmares". He is assisting to the Count's Gala in "Monde Inconnu Gala"
2016He joined a team of mercenaries and criminals to infiltrate Dr. Lazarus laboratories in "The Lament of Dr. Lazarus". There he discovered his origin, as an interdimensional traveller.
In Winter Nightmare he teamed up with the Hunters to solve a situation between Russia and China involving Genbu, the Black Tortoise.
He was hired to kill Derek Van Dercyle in Send the Child to Arata.
Garo Takayama 
A Veteran Archer, ex-member of the JHWAB Military Branch. Garo is a specialist in tracking and hunting Hidden World creatures, using his ancestral archery style, experience and unwavering discipline as his main tools for his work. Garo is serious minded, old-fashioned, moral, disciplined and melancholic, as his hands are bloody from the hundreds of creatures he killed during his JHWAB days for the sake of the human race.
2013
Garo worked for the JHWAB until the first half of the 2013, his relationship had been already damaged after his divorce left him bitter and depressed, but the nails on the coffin were his forced promotion to Inspector, forcing desk responsibilities on him and the cleanup of Shinjuku after the events in Shinjuku Shock.
He joined Inazuma’s 2013 class as a Teacher and Special Instructor, tempted by the promise of getting more money while keeping a more active duty. Unluckily for him he arrived to the school just when Garyuu Overseas Trading bought it and changed the curriculum of classes adding more emphasis on technological advancement and medical investigation.
2014Garo served as a Teacher for many students and worked as a Special Instructor for many more, as his archery style was deemed good enough to be added to the Inazuma Warfare Style Compendium, turning it, at least the basics of it, into part of the obligatory curriculum for the Archers in the school.
Garo almost took a small job in Romania, the one depicted in “A Night at the Castle” but problems with the custody of his son surfaced between him and his ex-wife and he was forced to sit this one out bogged by judicial procedure. He tried to reignite his relations with the BHA in hopes of getting more mercenary work.
2015
Garo got a request from an old friend in China as they had a Hidden World Crisis on their hands, an Aquelarre, a gathering of oddities in the same place. He was joined by other hired help (Alexander Stevenson, Falken Degiraz and Eve Harper) and they joined forces to hunt Suzaku, the Vermillion Bird, the epicenter of this gathering in “The Big Hunt”
Eve offered Garo a job in The Wild Hunt, something the Old Archer accepted without a doubt, resigning to his position in Inazuma. There was a double fold reason for this, firstly he disliked the direction the school was taking and secondly his son was about to enter and according to the custody agreement Garo couldn’t be near him except two weekends each month.
He joined up the same team as before to hunt Byakko, the White Tiger in China, during the events of “Hell in Heavenly Lake”. In this occasion frictions arose between him and Eve because of Ariana and Warden’s presence and Eve’s reaction to it, as well to Eve’s friendly relation with Falken Degiraz, who Garo despises for being such an amoral asshole.
He re-joined with the same Hunters to pursue and stop Genbu, the Black Tortoise, in the border between China and Russia to stop a possible international incident from happening thanks to the actions of the rampant Sacred Beast.
2016He joined a team of mercenaries and criminals to infiltrate Dr. Lazarus laboratories in "The Lament of Dr. Lazarus"
Rin Shishioh
The younger sister of Gen Shishioh, Rin is a fearless newcomer to the Hidden World, absorbing knowledge and skill to a fast pace. She started her career as a member of the BHA and student of Inazuma Gakuen recently and still tries to find out her place in this new world she discovered. Rin is courageous, stoic and highly driven, with a determination to be as independent and free as she could possibly be, since up until recently her life was steered and defined by her mother.
2013
Rin wasn’t part of the Hidden World during the 2013, she assisted the Shigure Hanabi Shoujo Gakuen, also known as SHS Gakuen, a prestigous academy for rich heiress and members of the most prestigious and powerful families in Japan. Here she went to class with Yuriko Kazegawa until mid 2013 she moved to Inazuma Gakuen. Rin spent most of her days studying, participating in clubs and meeting potential suitors her mother was arranging for her.
2014
Masayoshi, the eldest sibling of the Shishioh’s, started to suffer from organ failure at the beginning of the year. The Shishioh’s, with the help of their butler Kyotei Oboide, started planning to bring back Gen and used their resources to track him down. Rin didn’t know about their plans for Gen, only thinking at first that they wanted Gen to say goodbye to his brother when he died.
As most of the attempts to bring him back with mercenaries ended up in failures they heed the advice of Kyotei and through the contacts of Mr. Shishioh with the government they reached to the Hidden World, hiring the BHA. Rin, hearing about the manhunt for Gen, offered her help in exchange of her freedom, since she got a tip from Yuriko Kazegawa about Gen being in Kobe.
During the events of “Oh Son Where Art You” she pursued Gen through downtown Kobe with the help of her personal butler Takamaru Washiyama. Slowly her mind started to turn when she saw Gen’s desperate struggle to avoid capture. Finally she ended up helping Gen, but it was too late, he was captured by the Iron Eagle Company.
She met with Gen’s teacher, Reiji Fukuma and received basic Ki and martial arts training, as well getting her current weapon from him. After getting information through Yuriko Kazegawa’s contacts she set out for Osaka and gathered a team of friends and rivals of Gen to save him during the events of “Osaka Ablaze”
Rin tried to help his brother during the events of “The Cave” but wasn’t fast enough to arrive to Sakurajima and was locked outside by the barrier. During X-mas he assisted Haruko Miyata’s party and saw Gen, something impossible as he was declared KIA in the Sakurajima Incident. Maybe it was a X-mas miracle.
2015
Rin spent most of the year training and preparing to assist to Inazuma, while she helped Masayoshi to run the company. She stopped once her older brother was back to health and she moved in with Yuriko Kazegawa on her family’s state in Kobe. She took a job for Mason’s Magical Storage in “Night Shift”
2016
Goemon Williams
Former B-movie actor who abandoned his career to seriously train in martial arts. For that purpose he travelled to Japan and ended up learning under Ichigan Nagare, a Spirit Boxer and successor to the Mountain Slaying Fist. Goemon is good natured, boisterous and optimistic.
2013
Goemon trained under Ichigan Nagare all year, mastering the basic forms of the Mountain Slaying Fist Ougi. Around November Ichigan left Goemon to his own devices when he left to work on a mercenary gig, the same gig that he lost his life in. All this is depicted in the events of “Raid at Ryugu-jo”
2014
During the early months of the year Goemon joined up with the BHA and the SBF. He was training in Hokkaido during the Gen’s manhunt in “Oh Son Where art Thou”, he followed the instructions to steer clear from Osaka during “Osaka Ablaze” and he lost his flight to Romania to fight in “A Night at the Castle” because he was helping a lost child in the airport.
He worked for the BHA subcontracted by the JHWAB to guard Sakurajima in “The Cave” but he was convinced by Jose Hernandez to defect and join up with them upon learning whose island was it. He accepted being Jose’s teacher and the rest of the year he spent it drilling the basics of his style to the young Geokinetic fighter.
2015
Early 2015 was a time of Training for Goemon and Jose. Around August he joined up with other Bounty Hunters and heroes to protect Mason Storage in “Night Shift”. Alongside 2 other Spirit Boxers he is assisting the Count's party in "Monde Incommu Gala". By the end of the year he took the job in “Big Strong Hands” to help the Ogres.
2016
Masako Hihashi
Masako is a powerful Esper, with powers given to him by a series of illegal experiments before he was born. He is a dangerous criminal who only got more deranged upon unlocking his powers. He considers himself as something beyond humanity and thus he takes other humans as food, declaring that he is the apex predator of Earth.
2013Masako escaped Black Rock Prison during “Break-Out” and was captured by Kuro-san’s organization, Mangetsu. The scientist of Mangetsu altered his body and locked him in a suit that enhanced his powers and controlled him. He was given the codename “Shingetsu” and sent to retrieve the Benkeinium in “Amaterasu’s Treasure”. While fighting against Crow Cementerio he was dosed on the living metal and bonded with it, entering a chrysalis like state and retrieved by Mangetsu. Being in this state he retained his memories before the Kuro-san memory wipe.
2014Early this year Kuro-san gave Masako to Dr. Kago to investigate him. Kago used Masako’s altered DNA to develop new mutations and genetic experiments. One of them being K-4 a souped up clone of Crow Cementerio with blood taken from him by Falken Degiraz during “Identity Theft”. In a fit of panic during “Osaka Ablaze” Kago released Masako and sent him to chase on K-4 and the other intruders. Masako fought against Crow Cementerio, Toramaru Nagare and Raisa Ubisty before escaping.
2015Several JHWAB agents have encountered Masako who seems to be tailing Kuro-san, moving from place to place following the scent of the Forgotten Emperor.
2016No record of Masako’s exploits so far.
Sakka Jaakuma
Assassin by trade, writer by choice. Sakka is an extremely insane young lady with a natural connection to the Gainen Space, a prodigy. She can create fictional characters and locations and give them substance in the real world. She desires to obtain Kuro-san’s medal of Memory to grant her creations true identity by removing from her own mind the knowledge that they are fake.
2013Sakka gains her powers.
2014Sakka was hired by Kuro-san to serve as an operative in his small yet effective team. He asked her to create a scenario in which she could injure Gen Shishioh. She complied and after 3 months of exhaustive work managed to create Orasul Sange, a vampire infested village in “A Night at the Castle”. She barely managed to escape the gathering of heroes her stunt attracted and hid with Kuro-san’s operatives working on her next assignment.
2015She was working in some mysterious assignment for Kuro-san, one she disliked saying “She hated the genre she was forced to write about”
2016No recorded activity of Sakka.
Ikari Fukushi
A renegade agent of the JHWAB, Ikari was one of the highest ranking operatives in the organization, known to be strict, honor bound and deadly. He abandoned his positions years ago and started to work as a freelance mercenary and assassin. Lately he has been working for Kuro-san who seemingly put Ikari under some sort of metal control.
