As simple as that! What's the origin of your name? It can be the user name or your character name.
Obscuris, for example, is the name of one of two deities on a project I've been working for some years now and it's the God that represents Chaos and Arlana's full name (Ethne Caswallan) is a homage to Arlana's name on the old forums: Emerald Flamefate. Ethne means fire or flame and Caswallan omen or fate.

So the name Last_Gunslinger is kinda easy to figure out because its a reference to Crow so I will instead explain where Lobos_Del_Rayo comes from....back when i started RPing it was a Bleach RP site back then Crow was slightly similar he had his gunslinger/cowboy theme and his lightning powers but instead of being connected to eagles and hawks he had a wolf connection (i really loved the character Starrk from Bleach). Crow's shikai was Wolf Hidden in Storms (but in spanish) and his bankai was.....you guessed it Lobos Del Rayo (i thought it was a rough translation of Wolves of the Lightning) There you have it Lobos Del Rayo

When I was twelve, my sister had the PlayStation 1 game Need For Speed: High Stakes. The username had a maximum of 7 characters, and my name's Santiago, so instead of leaving it at Santiag I opted to try Gosanti and liked it.
Buenos Aires things: Gosantia would've sounded like a girls' name anyway, to our ears. Also our regional slang is heavily based on reversing the order of syllables. (We say javie instead of vieja, ortiba instead of batidor, lonpa instead of pantalon, sarpar instead of pasar, and so on.)
As for my character Victor Gratti, I tried to find a name that could be from my country but also from the U.S., or at least a U.S. 80s Saturday morning cartoon. I dunno if I achieved it lol

Welp, my username RED is based on my favorite color xD But, my complete username is Red Lenai. Red -> favorite color Lenai -> It comes from my real name , only that the syllables are reversed (Le-nai -> Ailén)
Ailén (my name on the real world) in mapuche that means Ember or Moonlight. If we take "Ember" it would mean "ember that gives warmth to others" A man that speaks Mapuche told me that it was moonlight xD and it means "transparence" or "The light in the darkness"
I'm not pretty sure... but I thin Ember is more accurate XD
And my character Derek. Derek is a male name. It is the English language short form of Dederik, the Low German form of the name Theodoric. Theodoric is an old Germanic name with an original meaning of "people's ruler" Van Dercycle.. well we made that name with a Friend of mine! XD we really wanted an original name for him. His complete name is more longer that the one that he has... the full name was "Derek Van Fengári Der-Cycle" Derek -> people's ruler (English) Van -> "Son of..." (West Germanic) Fengári -> "Moon" (Greek) Der -> "Of" (German) Cycle -> "Cycle" (English)
Yeah, despite of being a Irish, he has a really germanic name (from his father) And also, such destiny that his mother's name is Elatha (Queen of Moon) haha.

So interesting! See how Ailén reversed the syllables of her name into Lenai just how I did with Santiago and Gosanti? It really is a thing here, I dunno about other parts of the world
