It felt like a normal day to everyone in the world , sure there seems to be a coughing and cold infection going through towns, but for someone living their daily life normally it was but a normal occurence.
Every city had its crime scene report that people often watch while eating ,while idling just for the background noise, or those that people found after clicking so many links while randomly browsing. However to the people that lives and know of the hidden world
something is amiss. The murder have a ritualistic tendency in them, the victims lung seems to be "dirtied" some using water filled with filth and germ, some had theirs filled with soot, others have bloated lung filled with trapped gas whose combination is impossible in the air
The strangest however was the last one , the victim lung were filled with dirt, not mud or anything that happen like when you drown in a swap or anything, but dirt. It is as if some of these victim were forced to inhale these things for it to fill their lungs.
Whispers of a cult activity were circulated amongst website from those that "normals" believe to be true , or even those whose only purpose is circulating rumor and stories. People sensitive to the changes felt sick as if there is something in the air that's not very pleasant.
Somewhere in the middle east
In a decrepit temple hidden in the sands amongst the many valley and forgotten location, chantings resounded through the temples hall, the temples wall pulsates with as if it have taken life itself. Numerous people all dressed in rags, their body covered with deformation and filth
In front of them was a man his body was bloated, his skin filled with all kind of rash and tumorlike growth that seeths out pus, it is as if this man is their leader as several thousands chanted with him leading them. They seems to chant from a strange scripture with a mixture of langguage
mixed enough to be both familiar and unfamiliar to those who know them , these scriptures were written in the back of someone whose arm and leg were cut off replaced with chains tied to pillars and the floor, most of all the man is alive.
(Great Defiler have decred that now its the time of his awakening , the first key have already woken up ,true is the gospel of our world , false is this world around him) The priest speaks in the same langguage as the chant, his voice blaring through as if its enhanced by some mean.
The chant grew more feverish as the priest pulls a knife out (True master of the world ,true and only god, accept this offering ), he took the knife into his hand , slicing into an infection on his arm, muddish brown blood like fluid flows from it, as he held it above the man with the scripture on his back
(ACCEPT OUR OFFER SO THAT WE MAY SUCCEED) He roared and stabbed the neck of the man slicing it slowly. As if its qued the followers surged forward eager to receive the mans blood into their orifices, and as soon it enters their body, they changed. The crowd swayed as if they are in trance , their face in a grosteque smile.
The crowd chants grew even faster , pulling their own knifes each of them plunge it into the person on their side, families and friends as they kept stabbing each other until there was none left. The priest grinned and he turned back going deeper through the temple.
Somewhere in the middle of a busy city , in an empty room.
A man appeared on a bed, a young man that could be possibly more than 23 with blue eyes and blonde hair woke up fully clothed in a clothing style thats maybe 10-20 years too old for current fashion. The man curled his finger close and then open it again as if checking if there is anything wrong with it , his eye scanned the room as he looked at a clock and calendar that seems to be mounted to be in view as soon as he woke up . A voice rang in his head "Wake up... hero, humanity has called for you, time to once again.... fight." The young man nodded to no one and he left his bed, his eyes seems to shine in the dark building as he walked briskly in its hallways

A tall man in a coat walked slowly down the road, whistling all the way. His coat billowed behind him in the early morning wind as he took his swaggering steps. The hat tilted over his face didn't hide the cruel grin showing unnaturally big canines that splayed wide on his face. His nostrils flared. Dry grass and small mammals. He licked his lips.
Finally, he stopped and looked across the street. The open field started at the edge of town and ended... somewhere. "Hey, you here? I don't have all day!" He glanced around and as expected, four red eyes appeared in the shadow of a tree. The shadow became physical, and within a second, a great being of absolute darkness. He looked like he was cut from a starless sky. "What did you want?" Huntsman growled. "You're lucky I decided it was worth it coming out here to talk." Swallower looked down at him, no expression readable in his eyes. "Do not get involved." He walked past Huntsman and dove into a building's shadow, vanishing. "Get back here! What the hell are you talking about!? Just what are you doing!?" No answer came from the darkness.
Huntsman snarled and whirled on his feet, whipping his coat around his legs. He walked with determination this time, frozen grin and covered face causing a woman walking her dog to cross the street. He entered an early-opening cafe with wi-fi and lit up his phone, looking for the website he had come across earlier. He checked to confirm what he knew and maybe see other info he hadn't previously gathered. Where were the murders taking place, what was the modus operandi?

it can be quickly gleamed through the common websites ,that the murders happen each in 5 countries in 5 continent , seems to be very unlikely , the murder often happen at impoverished areas where proper health care seems to be inaccessible to its denizen. Some more unscrupulous rumor and occult websites linked to many historic and anecdotal theories on why the murder happens, some of the worst even liked to scary rumors made by fans all over the internet. It seems the closest site of murder was that of locale around 2-3 blocks from the cafe Huntsman is currently in, the murder happened around 2-3 days ago , and the police is still continuing investigation.

Huntsman regained his grin and flicked his coat back as he stood. Pocketing his phone, he ran off. He slowed back to his swagger as he approached the road where the murder had taken place. He kept back a little and watched the police. How was he getting in? He looked at the faces of the nearest police and turned away. He jumped up the nearest building and jumped building to building. When he felt he was far enough away, he dropped the the ground and tapped 9-1-1 on his phone. "Hello, I'd like to report a burglary!" He gave an address and hung up before he could be questioned to much and leaned against a wall, waiting for a car to arrive.

Two cops responded to the 911 call lazily, they were not really interested in the impoverished area of the city, also thinking that a burglary wouldn't happen here.The first cop begin to speak up as they near the area "Martinez, lets finish this up quickly all we need to do is took up notes, put it in that report system the mayor seems to spend loads of money on and be done with it. Who would even want to rob a thing there, is there even anything to rob" The second cop the one called Martinez nodded out, he was a junior cop in the partnership system, and Jones have taught him alot that would make his cop life easier "Its a 911 so we gotta respond either way though, the new captain is a real stickler for the rules" Martinez responded to Jones with a shrug. As they arrived in the designated address the two of them got out of their car,the two have appearance in contrast with each other. Jones was a portly middle aged man who clearly have spent his life eating donuts and plenty other junk food, his uniform look as if its last fitted when he is 10kg lighter and his belly looked like as if its going to burst out of it, meanwhile Martinez was a fit young man a poster boy for cops poster, who went through a regiment of exercise and diet to have a sculpted body,
Both looked around the place as they arrived in the address , the street was on its usual traffic , people were passing through not knowing anything that happened to their city, Jones noticed a man who was leaning on the wall. He approached him slowly before asking "Are you the one who reported a burglar in this area? as you can see we are with the police" Martinez sized up the man in his mind as he approached behind Jones, he felt as if there is something strange about him.

He balanced on the midsection with ease and once he reached the edge of the roof, he jumped over to the next one. He was making his way to the scene of the latest murder using the rooftops like this since the streets below were too crowded for him to drive a motorcycle recklessly. Plus, it's been so long since he last did any roof hopping, he almost forgot how fun it was.
Once he reached the crime scene, he jumped down somewhere out of sight and then looked for a way to enter the location without attracting attention.

Huntsman smiled when the cops arrived. He looked over the two. Older fat one. Well, he could bloat with air, but it would be limiting. The second was much better. Young, so the others might not be too familiar with him. Trim enough that he could remain compact. Yes, he would do nicely. He stepped off the wall and raised his hat, showing yellow eyes with pupils like a cat's. He didn't bother responding, just rushing forward with inhuman speed and dropping to swing his feet at Jones' feet to bring him to the ground before lunging back up to look Martinez in the eye. "Sup?" He asked as one arm deformed become something like a mosquito's mouthparts.

From the front gate it can be seen clearly which one of the 4 houses were subject to the hideous crime, grime and filth dripped from window and doors gap. the streets seems to be filled with the usual activities as people went about their way not caring of the crime scene and its gruesome method that happen before their eye, even now there are screams from the other unit house , a voice of a man and a woman both accusing each other of infidelity. The shouts seem to be loud enough to cover the noise someone make while breaking in Huntsman smiled when the cops arrived. He looked over the two. Older fat one. He stared in horror as the man stared at Martinez while his arm were shifting and deforming into "something" else. Martinez was too shocked by the mans action, he managed to let out a shout "STOP ! Assaulting an officer of the law is a crime, You are now under arrest !" Martinez pulled out his shock gun , how he wished now that the mayor didnt change their issue pistols into this "Non lethal and safer option" , He took aim at Huntsman , and pressed the trigger more due to fear rather than conviction, two wires each filled with electricity enough to knock a grown man flies out of the shock gun barrel. |

Huntsman smirked when the weapon was pointed his way, expecting a bullet to harmlessly pass through him. The shock instead got his attention. His body shuddered and halted for a second before he glared and grew brutal talons to slash at the wires connecting to his chest. It of course didn't matter that they appeared to be embedded in his coat- it was merely a membrane that rippled and flowed on its own, little tendrils forming on the edge and tearing up tufts of grass in fury. "You want me to play nice? Don't do that again!" It was all he could do to not eat the man's head. The fool was lucky he was so nice!

Any normal person would be puzzled by the sheer number of pedestrians walking around as if nothing significant is happening at all. Yet not Alex. This peculiar man, almost completely covered in a heavy black trench coat, has been busy staring at the location of the recent crime scene for the past thirty minutes without moving a single muscle. A regular civilian might have been suspicious about him, especially considering the fact that he has a rather large gruesome smile on his face, along with his oddly shape eyes full of intense passion. Regardless, the strange man himself doesn’t seem to register the odd behaviors of the people around him in the slightest as his full attention is only on the building in front of him. Eventually he decides to make his move and enter the property. He slowly circles the place a bit until he finds the most suitable method to break in. Using the noise of a dysfunctional couple as cover, he heads towards the crime scene by breaking through a dusty window with his wire thread glove.

In all of their life, both Martinez and Jones never seen anything like this, they only have heard hearsays and rumours about strange things that often masquerade as men, but they dismissed as just that , hearsays . Jones scrambled to his car , he opened the door and he dived into the car , trying to dig in the police compartment where his radio and panic button is located . Martinez stood there in terror, his lips can only mutter one thing repeatedly "what the fuck is this ? what the fuck is happening to me " he stared at the man whose hand just turned into talons whose cloak turned into some kind of tentacles , this kind of sight is something he only sees whenever his dorky brother occupied the living room televisions with his friends Any normal person would be puzzled by the sheer number of pedestrians walking around as if nothing significant is happening at all. In the wall was plastered many article clippings and pages ripped from the book , the clippings seems to be about the plague thats happening all over the world all across the time. There are also articles of cult rising through out this point of time in history, It seems as if the previous person living here was doing research about relations between plague and cults. The desk in the corner of the room have book scattered all over it , books that most common people have access to and some books thats nearly low rank hush materials, the most interesting however was a journal that have a plane ticket slipped in it, lying just there unopened. Those sensitive to the supernatural most likely can feel a tingle in the air , as if there is a magic residual in the house itself , all 4 other room were boarded up with plank wood. |

In his search for a suitable entrance, Arthur ran into the broken window. Was this done by looters, he wondered. It would not be unlikely in a poor neighborhood like this. That would potentially be quite bad. Sounds coming from inside the house filled him with hope. Perhaps it wasn't too late to stop the person from taking anything that might be important for the investigation. With that thought in mind, he hopped in through the window.
He was not expecting to see someone like Alex in there. "Aren't you a little too old and too well dressed to be stealing from the dead? Especially while this place is still under investigation. How about you leave before I have to call the cops?" He ignored the tingly sensation of magic that permeated this place for now.

Huntsman smiled at Martinez. "See, good things come from cooperation." He moved his arm to prick the young officer in the neck, injecting venom that would leave him unconscious for about two hours. Short term memories would be erased like they were never there- he wouldn't remember a thing that happened since he woke up this morning. He stepped past and leaned into the car, putting his taloned hand on Jones' shoulder. "Tell them it was handled and we're coming back to file a report." He said in Martinez's voice as his face and body changed back to human, red coat shortening to a shirt and becoming blue.

Alex looks at Arthur with a smile and says, "Go ahead. Call the cops. It might be interesting to see if they bother to do their job." After his comment of alluding to the fact that this entire scene lack any real police investigation, he turns slowly around and begins to explore the room. His hands carefully examine the more fascinating information in the room. As he looks over the elaborate research on the relationship between plagues and cults his smile continues to grow. He moves towards the desk and notices the journal and picks it up. He doesn't open it yet, but rather he seems to be puzzled about the strange sensation the book is giving him.

As soon as Alex picked up the book , an image comes to the mind of everyone in the house , an image more like a slideshow compared to a video. An image of a seemingly wise kings, surrounded by 5 wisemen, his people hailing him as their saviour. The kingdom was shown to be bountiful with equality and happiness, then the image change. The country was burning its building were ran through the ground , the kings army couldn't stop the invasion done by one man. The man glowed with blue flames surrounding his body , slaying the kings army and eventually the wisemen with bestial roar each time he killed one of the wisemen. The image moved once again , showing the Man with blue flame killing a young girl even though she begged for mercy, his atrocities pile like mountains. The man allies were no better than him , savage from the forest armed with crude weaponry and violent vegetation, unkempt wild mountain man with axes who swig vile drinks after every battle. He even enlisted terrible conqueror nations to march with him each wanting to claim the wise kings land, each trampling over the great work of the kings nation, The great king power were however too much for them , they cannot truly vanquish the king, He were split into 5 by his remaining people to await resurrection, each of the 5 pieces were locked under a key given to the 5 wisemen , everytime the wisemen will wake up and due their loyalty to try and wake up the king. Each time however they are stopped by this man and his terrible allies , the mans banner flew high a shape like a scale made out of crude and basic shapes and his face is revealed, a young man no more than 25 , with a cold blue eyes and blonde hair, he then glared at the viewer and the image ends there. the room returned to normal in a blink as if nothing happened , in the midst of news paper and book clipping on the wall the very same symbol as the mans banner can be seen with the word below it "Keeper of Balance" , the lower part of the article were ripped out Huntsman smiled at Martinez. "See, good things come from cooperation." He moved his arm to prick the young officer in the neck, injecting venom that would leave him unconscious for about two hours. Short term memories would be erased like they were never there- he wouldn't remember a thing that happened since he woke up this morning. He stepped past and leaned into the car, putting his taloned hand on Jones' shoulder. "Tell them it was handled and we're coming back to file a report." Jones nodded to Martinez , feeling lucky that he was partnered with last year best graduate from the academy. He picked up the radio saying that it was a false alarm and they will be there again to file a report on the incident . Jones shrugged and stayed inside his car , thinking what he dreamt last night to see this kind of stuff on a regular patrol day. Jones was going to put it in his report but decided against it, as he begin to write the report draft using the terminal inside the car. |

Huntsman was surprised at Jones quick recovery. Did he think he had just imagined that? That was no good. He slid into the passengers seat and smiled. "Heh heh heh... you thought I was your partner? Fucking humans!" His voice distorted more and more as he spoke. He lifted his hand to show it growing feathers, then dropping them to show a slimy, pitted mass that finally took human shape again. "Now, we're going to the police station, and you're helping me get every bit of evidence possible on the recent murder. Annoy me, try to tell people I'm not Martinez- I will be forced to tear every cop in the station in fucking half. Except you. You go slowly. Got it?" He smiled, teeth now human and voice again that of Martinez.

"Hmm?" A mumble of surprise came from the dark corner of the crime scene. Something massive and black stepped from the shadows to tower over Arthur and Alex, shaking his head at the visions. The fall of a worthy king? Truly tragic. "Oh. Greetings. Leave this place." The Swallower of Worlds looked down like he had just noticed the others.

"Yeah let me tell you now about those murder here and now, thats pretty much a dead end case, at least the one we handles seems to be useless, there is no actual evidence on the thing , and the corpse look like the maggots took in way before we actually get the report. Sure I mean the walls were full of cult stuff on some shit , but its pretty much just an everyday case of one poor man being dead" Jones shrugged while he drived through the traffict going back to the precinct. |

Alex returns his gaze back to the young looking man in the room. With a single glance he understood that he alone did not share that vision. What is up with receiving visions lately? Well...at least this one did not cause me to suffer the pain of freezing to death. He turns the pages of the journal to see if he could find anything important, meanwhile he ignores the Swallower's presence do to his current fixation. Once he turns over the last page, he looks at the board and notices the symbol from the Vision. Slowly he walks over to the board to get a better look.

Well...at least this one did not cause me to suffer the pain of freezing to death. He turns the pages of the journal to see if he could find anything important. Once he turns over the last page, he looks at the board and notices the symbol from the Vision. Slowly he walks over to the board to get a better look. The symbol glows pulsating , words appeared around it in an ancient script "Seek the men of mountains" for it is they who forge the armor that reject our king" The words glimmered before changing its content "Stop the man clothed in blue flame , for he is the harbinger of destruction for this rich earth, every live every second counts" the words glimmered once again "Seek the men of mountains". The journal contains the information on what is the men of the mountain , the clues and guides seems to point to a mountain range near nepal , with coordinates written in on a list basis , suggesting there is something important in each of the coordinates |

The slideshow presented an interesting little story. Arthur made sure to memorize the blue flame user's face. When the memories finally ended, Arthur's curiosity about the case grew. Just as he was about to do some investigation of his own he felt movement behind him. Then Swallower spoke. Arthur darted around and held an ice sword to the strange creature's throat. "Who or what the hell are you? Why does every incident I want to investigate always attract so many strange beings?"
