The Order of the Black Bullet

The Order of the Black Bullet is a secret cult/sect that has existed within the Gunslinger since their roots, they have always hid in the shadows of the Gunslingers operating in silence and plotting to take control of the clan through any means necessary. While many scholars have theorize what the motives of the Order are, to this day no one outside of the cabal (and even some within) are unsure what their true motives lie. The most common theory is that because the Order exists as the distorted mirror image of the Gunslingers, often representing the same views but with a darker meaning, and because the Gunslingers draw ties so closely to nature and natural energy the Order represents a twisted version of this. This has caused some to believe that the Order of the Black Bullet seeks to use the destructive powers of nature and natural energy to bend things to their will but this still remains a theory as to what their motives are.

To the Gunslinger the Order of the Black Bullet are in a sense a Shadow version of themselves and this is not far from the truth. The order is comprised of Gunslingers who while still believing the clan’s ideals, methods, and ways have taken those beliefs and twisted them in a way to fit the darkness in their hearts. They walk a path darken by the shadows of their zealous and often destructive ambitions. Instead of walking through the blood and carnage that may lie ahead of them, they paved their way with blood and carnage showing no remorse as they believe their goal is true and righteous. This is what worries most Gunslingers and scholars alike, while the Order of the Black Bullet methods may seem dark and evil to most because of their beliefs, ideals, and MOST importantly their determination they are still Gunslingers. Therefore any Gunslinger can be swayed to their path under the right conditions.

ORGANIZATION 
The Order of the Black Bullet is broken into two groups the Order itself and it legions of followers/associates. These associates follow the order and pledge their support and resources to the cause (often having their own motives and goals incensing them) in exchange for their support the Order often gives them opportunities to achieve their own goals as well as a small piece of “power”. This power is often in the form of unique weapons, armors, technology powered by corrupted Natural Energy which gains powers as the user gives into their darkness. Not every associate gains a Black Triggers (what these items are often referred to as) so they usually go to the most powerful/strong associates these associates are referred to as generals of sorts.

The second and by far the most powerful, dangerous, devoted members of the Order. They are referred to as the Apostles of the Black Bullet or simply the Apostles. Each Apostle is devoted to the cause of the Order because it goal is connected to them at a deeply emotional level usually by some form of trauma in their past. They are willing to do anything for the Order and its cause and will show no remorse in their actions. There are seven Apostles in total, one for each Law of the Gunslinger Code, and they often share a connection to that law in the form of ideology and beliefs. However as the Order is the shadow version of the Gunslinger the Apostles are the shadow version of the laws/Gunslinger Code. The Apostles usually follow a distorted version of the law that they have formed in their head because of their own scarred past.

The Apostles of the Black Bullet represent the top tier of the cabal and each one alone is threat that is not to be taken lightly. For one they are highly trained Gunslingers adapt (often times experts in certain techniques) they even know some skills that Gunslingers aren’t taught or variations of classic Gunslinger techniques. The Apostles also are masters of their own self-created techniques, skills, and abilities having hone them for years to fit their desired outcomes. They are also each equipped with at least one custom made (often by themselves) and extremely powerful weapon, armor, or technology. However unlike the Black Triggers that the Associates use that use corrupted Natural Energy the Apostles “weapons” use pure Natural Energy often drawing it (unwillingly) from around them or from a source.
