Backstory
Born from opulent upbringing, Iris's mother and father were both prominently famous figures. Her mother, a beautiful and talented actress while her father was known for being a savage business mogul. Iris, having shown no talent for either of these things, instead showed a strange talent for handling fabric. Her knitting, her stitches, her crocheting, anything that involved fabric was molded impressively in Iris's natural, talented hands. Unfortunately, despite her natural prowess and praises from her teachers, it wasn't enough for her parents who thrived off their image. Her mother coldly pushed her to constantly do better, no breaking, no stopping; her father was distant away on his business adventures where he quickly found himself a younger, prettier actress of which to affiliate his time with. Her mother, with a broken heart, came down harder on Iris to make up for the now soiled image they'd had and if Iris refused, her mother quickly punished her with physical violence. The abuse she endured each day broke her emotionally, molding a small, cold husk of a human instead whose only desire was to be perfect at anything she did. Being pressed into the top fashion schools in the country by her mother's whims, Iris found that she garnered many enemies rather quickly. For one, her designs and her work were always top picked in competitions among the school and they garnered much attention, bringing her future scholarships and opportunities of the like. Teachers adored Iris's capabilities, fawning over her abilities while ignoring the individual beneath that; she took a garbled message that she was only good for image. It was all she was good for. This all led to an intense isolation of the lonely girl whose work consumed her and she went many years falling deeper and deeper into herself while her mother moved her from prestigious school to school.
Yet somehow, a girl too kind for her own good took to Iris and after speaking to her everyday, Iris began to soften up towards her, taking her compliments and letting them gradually build her up over again. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when her friend was found fatally injured in a car accident, unable to do so much as hold a pencil to sketch her designs. Iris watched after her everyday after her classes at school, using her friend's designs to try and fashion the perfect dress for her injured friend, but unfortunately was met with untimely tragedy as she'd passed away. Heartbroken, but determined to allow her friend's dream to continue on, Iris now sits comfy as a Seamstress, working towards absolute perfection in her dolls and designs.
Personality
Iris hides herself well behind an proud exterior. Haughty with pride and oozing self-confidence, Iris holds her head high and looks far down on others who don't understand the world of fashion, or who wear clothes solely for the sake of impressing other people. She takes massive pride in her work, despite loathing it in private, wanting to make clothes for the sake of their wearers and not for the sake of those looking upon them; she feels that clothing is like a second skin and should be treated as intimately as such.
Iris's attitude is cold and dismissive towards anyone she feels isn't worth her time (which are many) and her tongue is as sharp as her needles. Needlessly insulting or berating, Iris isn't described as 'nice' by any means and it's surprising at all that she has any friends.
Despite her ill-mannered behavior, Iris has a softer side she only shows in private to the intimacy of fabric and would never intentionally mean to show it to another ever again.

Appearance
A bit of a fashionista, Iris is always seen wearing a different outfit when she catches up on latest trends. Crafting her own clothes, they always carry a special flare that can only describe her over-attention to detail. The only things she wears that aren't self-created fashion are the bandages almost constantly wrapped around her fingers.Her hair is also constantly at change as she dyes it whenever she feels. Between intervals, her hair can go anywhere from natural, to neon, to pastel so long as she feels like taking the time to change her hair. To keep her long hair out of her face she will always be seen wearing it either in a ponytail or a bun, a bun being more of her preference so that she may stick needles in to hold it up.
Stature-wise, Iris is a towering figure thanks to her long legs and thin form. With an ever-present air of sophistication, she walks as if she always has somewhere more important to be.
Iris's eyes are a bright, forest-green and she is extremely pale from how often she keeps herself locked inside with her work. Occasionally bags can be seen beneath her eyes, but she always attempts to cover them up with makeup.
Powers
Sewn Dolls: With the knowledge of her handiwork combined with magical sigil research, Iris can patch in or sew on magical glyphs and symbols of power into her works, imbuing them with abilities. While capable of moving and doing her bidding, they are entirely autonomous and incapable of doing anything other than their specified jobs associated with the particular symbol or glyph sewn on to them; these sigils react to voice cues. Their bodies are also only as durable as the material they are made of, therefore their use comes more from their individual utility instead of their hardiness. ~~~
Battle Oriented
The Goliath: A massive culmination of Iris's specialized "Spider Thread" and a miscellaneous amount of scrap material. The Goliath has massive strength added through sigils, its body is solid as steel, however its actions are very slow and the doll itself is very heavy from the combined weight of its material. Appearance wise, it is a multi-colored, multi-patched figure that raises around 15 feet tall in height and 12 in width. It's head has a human shape, but its mouth spans across the width of is whole face and the mouth is lined with many sewing needles. From the neck to its waist, it possesses human-like arms, but its legs seem to represent strangely, spidery limbs.
The Goliath can consume more fabric to grow bigger, but it must be given the vocal command and it can only increase its mass according to how much it eats.
Miscellaneous Use

Miscellaneous Use
Porcupine Pincushion: A small pincushion, shaped like a porcupine whose spines are miscellaneous needles. It's capable of moving, though not entirely with sentience. It's sole purpose is to provide Iris with needles.
Sewing Scarf: A beautifully crafted, dark red scarf with its ends tied into multiple, small extensions. When used with the spoken sigil, Iris can use the scarf to act as another pair of hands that assist in her sewing; she usually just uses it to hold fabric or measure lengths as she doesn't think it capable of pulling the feats she does.
Fabric Pallbearer: Three small little creatures that slightly resemble snails. Their mouths spew the fabric that is rolled in their backs and they mainly move in circles, unwinding fabric of Iris's choice. They can also change their own fabric when spoken the right sigil, though they have to swallow their fabric fully and it takes a while to change the appearance entirely.
~~~
Glyphs: The glyphs that Iris has discovered so far and understands enough to use at their base levels.~~~
Specialized Thread: Through both an intentional attempt and unintentional result, Iris created a sigil spider that was capable of crafting a thread that had never been seen before. With durability of steel and the sharpness of a sword blade, the thread is impossible for her to work with without injury.- Endurance: A glyph that makes the object, or fabric, more durable and harder to break/tear/shred/etc.
- Movement: A glyph that makes the object, or fabric, capable of movement. If there is a specified speed above, or below, normal, it must be specified with another glyph. Iris currently only knows how to make a ‘fast’ version of that glyph.
- Strength: Slightly different from the Endurance glyph, Iris can make a fabric physically stronger. This glyph only seems to be really effective on The Goliath since he is the only creation in need of such a glyph.
Kaspa Pouch: A pouch that took her years to craft, Iris has a small bag that she keeps on her person at all time. Inside are her creations, some of her fabrics and tools, and it's where she keeps the Goliath.
Hasty Sewing/Knitting: Between her understanding of magic and craft, Iris can sew/knit at inhuman speeds if she allows herself to make mistakes which isn't very likely.
(I'll continue to edit these in the future.)
Weapon/Weapons of Choice
Iris uses a slew of sewing and knitting needles combined with handfuls of threads and fabrics, as well as a handy pair of scissors.Glyphed Scissors: One of the biggest benefits and hindrances of her kit, Iris's scissors allow her to breathe life into her creations. After sewing on a patch or glyph, cutting the thread activates the magic symbol and allows the creation to perform its task.
Needles: Just average, run-of-the-mill needles. They don't possess any power themselves, but are the key components to anything Iris can make. They come in a variety of sizes and a variety of types; sewing, knitting, crocheting.
Weaknesses
Iris doesn't possess an unnatural amount of knowledge towards the sigils she's created. She can only perfect them through practice and sometimes the glyphs don't possess the desired effect.
With her creations and her own use of thread as her only abilities, if incapable of using any she is basically useless. Fighting such as hand-to-hand is not her forte and puts her at a great disadvantage if she can't keep her distance while creating.
Iris's specialized thread is also a threat to her own safety. Despite its many uses, the sharpness can always injure her if she is not careful.
